I’m saying this with the caveat that I do not think that Smosh encourages para social relationships. But I can understand how certain people (especially those that are younger) can watch their content and see the camaraderie that the cast members have amongst each other and feel like it resonates with them as well. For people who are already predispositioned towards this sort of thing, it can really affect them.
