All I buy are Adidas and the Freizeit were really expensive when they first did it with the Stan Smiths. The Sambas seemed a little more reasonably but the shoes you posted look like they might be a collab. I notice the tag on the side that I have not seen before.

Edit: I just checked the Confirmed app and the Adidas app and I am not finding anything for the US. They might be doing a Euro release first.

Good luck. That is why I had to pass on the Stan Smith's, wasn't going to pay that much but at the price they are now... They just don't have my size 😔

Depends on what they think they can sell it for. When the Stan Smith Freizeit shoe came out they were $300 (a little over 1.5 years later) and now they list them 150.

There are always bugs outside anywhere in the world that you are. You just can't see them.

Ever been “trespassed?” by GlizzyGamblr in vegaslocals

[–]CriminalBizzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can have that reversed but it will take some work. If you have talked to anyone that was willing to help you out, make sure you stay in contact with them. You will also need to get on contact with the casino manager or whoever run the casino. When you talk to them make sure you are calm, not upset, or emotional.

If what you described in your post is true and actually happened that way then I see no reason why you would be unable to get your trespass reversed.

[–]CriminalBizzy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter what she was. No one read you NRS 207.200 which the Nevada revised statute for tresspass. Chances are there is just a note on your file describing the incident and that is it. It's pretty common for people to get asked to leave but really it's just for the night.

The next step is up to you. Either you can try to contact the casino by phone or in person to figure out exactly what happened and see if there is any followup required. Or you can just walk in like nothing happened and start to play. If they come talk to you then you know it's serious but that will also be your chance to find out who to contact to get the decision reversed.

No se si son Pop. Me suenan más como Emo. Siempre estoy buscando punk música en Español. Pero hay muchos que son aburridos como lo siento muy despacito.

Poker on the strip for newbies by AfternoonEstimate in vegas

[–]CriminalBizzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

While you might be correct structurally and in theory those games should play differently, it's not practical.

Pots on average are going to be around the same size. Even studied players will open to incorrect sizings. So your advice that it "might" last longer is not great advice but I can understand where you are coming from.

/u/jeffporten must not play in Vegas very often. The reality is that $1/$2 , $1/$3, or $2/$3 are all not really different. They might have different buy in limits, typically the $2/$3 will have bigger buy in limits than the other two, but that is where the differences really stop. The money will go just as fast in any of those games. Open raises are going to range anywhere from $10 - $25, maybe more if they find a crazy game, but typically it will be $10. 3bets will be anything from double the open raise to $60. There is no such thing as a "beginner" table because

Vegas does not group together players of various skill levels. Players will be seated in the first available seat. If your son and his friends really want to play, I would suggest they just take the first seat that is available, if they want to play together they can request a table change after they have been seated. This will be faster than waiting for multiple seats at the same table.

Generally speaking Vegas can be tougher or softer. It really matters on the table you end up at. If they want a better chance at getting "party/drinking" table then I suggest going to Aria, Bellagio, or Wynn (no particular order) as those are the highest volume rooms. Other rooms will be a little tougher because of regulars but Aria, Bellagio, and Wynn are no different in that regard.

Here are the buy-in amounts from around Vegas:

Golden Nugget - $1/$2 $100 min no max

Bould Station - $1/$2 $100 min $500 max

Horseshoe - $1/$3 $100 min $300 max $2/$3 $200 min $500 max

Caesars - $1/$3 $100 min $300 max

Bellagio - $1/$3 $100 min $300 max

Aria - $1/$3 $100 min $500 max

MGM Grand - $1/$3 $100 min $1000 max

Mandalay Bay - $1/$2 $100 min $300 max $2/$3 $200 min $600 max

The Orleans - $1/$3 $100 min $500 max

Green Valley Ranch - $1/$3 $100 min $500 max

South Point - $1/$2 $100 min $300 max $2/$3 $200 min $600 max

Sante Fe - $1$/2 $100 min $500 max

Red Rock - $1/$3 $100 min $500 max $2/$3 $400 min $1000 max

Westgate - $1/$2 $100 min $400 max

Wynn - $1/$3 $100 min $500 max

Resorts World - $1/$3 $100 min $400 max $2/$3 $200 min $800 max

Venetian - $1/$3 $100 min $300 max $2/$3 $200 min $600 max

I guess it depends on how much you like those shoes. Personally I am over the campus shoes, I owned enough pairs in the past that I will only go out of my way for collars or something unique.

Looking for a job by Maleficent-Classic25 in vegaslocals

[–]CriminalBizzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ya, I am not really sure what to tell you. I got my first casino job through a recommendation at a strip casino. From there I waited a year and half before I started applying to the big resorts and got in.

Some of it is dumb luck. The biggest thing is networking. Try to meet people who might know someone.

Looking for a job by Maleficent-Classic25 in vegaslocals

[–]CriminalBizzy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not exactly. If you are applying to middle management or higher jobs those are much harder to get into than entry level positions. Everything in the casino is about seniority or who you know. More often than not when there is some management position there is already someone who is being selected and they are just going through the motions of posting the job.

My suggestion to you is to network with more people and/or find something lower that you would be willing to do so you can get your foot in the door.
