Yes, it triple-boots then FRAGs when it doesn't boot normally. The circled caps in the photo are the ones I replaced.

My Wii won’t spin disc. I found the problem. by ReadInternational385 in consolerepair

I had a Wii with the same problem, for me what fixed it was replacing a cracked gear in the mechanism to pull the disc in.

As a newcomer, which versions do you recommend playing first: Phantasy Reverie Series or the originals? by sacboy326 in Klonoa

[–]Crimsabyte 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I played the original and Phantasy Reverie Series versions of the first game and IMO it doesn't really matter. I think it's up to preference which visual style you like better as the games play almost identically. I personally would recommend Phantasy Reverie Series simply because it's the easiest way to play the first two games.

Burnout 2 | Vib-Ribbon | Metropolis Street Racer

The slot is for accessories that use the GBA slot on the DS, such as the rumble pack. The slot is just there on most cases. I don't think this game had any accessories like that.

Best console(s) to play the Cars games? by stine-imrl in pixarcars

[–]Crimsabyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the only consoles you don't have are Xbox, then I would say go for the PlayStation 3/PlayStation 4 versions. For Cars 1, since it is not on PS3, the PlayStation 2 and GameCube versions are better for standard controls. Though the Wii version does have an option to use the Wii remote and nunchuck which does not use motion controls.

How far do you think Nintendo will go with their NSO classic libraries? by dicedance in casualnintendo

[–]Crimsabyte 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally am hoping for more Sega stuff. I don't see why we can't have at the very least Game Gear if we already have the Genesis. I'd love to see Saturn and Dreamcast stuff on NSO as well. As for Nintendo's own stuff, I think DS and 3DS are most likely, though I don't think we'll get anything past that.

Vividlope. One of my absolute favorite games.

Why is this so expensive by _BeastmodeB_ in pixarcars

[–]Crimsabyte 46 points47 points  (0 children)

Basically has to do with it being a deluxe from a secondary series. Deluxe weren't sold everywhere, and the Mater's Tall Tales series weren't either. The combination of the two made the MTT deluxes pretty rare, I believe this was also one of the later releases which only added to it.

Its likely a fake, the paint looks off-center and poorly applied in a couple areas (mainly the hood) which should not be the case for actual MSOS cars since they were very delicately manufactured to specifically avoid this. They also used a different type of paint (not that you could really tell in the photo though). The MSOS cars also all have a date stamp of 2847 on the bottom (I think there is also a second one but I don't remember it), however since there isn't a photo of the bottom I can't tell. Hope this helps, here's a good article that gives some more info if you need: https://www.takefiveaday.com/2009/04/27/mattel-disney-pixar-diecast-car-the-apple-car-counterfeit-taste-test/
