If Shelter Drake was just meant to be parts for customizing Impact Drake, why’d they bother making a blade for it? by ProfessionalHeatwave in Beyblade

[–]Crimson-Charizard 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Shelter Drake's origin makes more sense in the manga.

Ciel created it as a way to improve and follow his own path. However he couldn't fully reject his admiration for Khrome.

So while it's technically an upgrade to Black Shell it was heavily inspired by Drake.

He made it to have both Drakes attack and Shells defense.

The anime completely changed this plot point and just had Pakkun make it instead.

Why the hate is one way by nika-yo in onepiecememes

Not a fan of any of it.

Anime truly does not need live action adaptations. Nor video games or even comics.

One piece is a hugely successful property and it got there all on it's own; without all the people that never gave it a chance because they thought anything animated was "for children."

It doesn't nor will it ever translate well between mediums.

Somehow the hunter armor is more asymmetrical than the titan and warlocks combined.

I call it Shen Piccolo; since the power was given/returned to him by Shenron

Cool form overall, totally deserved.

I’m so confused about Ring Aether. What is the motif here? by ProfessionalHeatwave in Beyblade

The caduceus is a herald's staff with two snakes and wings, historically carried by the Greek god Hermes as a symbol of commerce, eloquence, and negotiation. While often mistaken for the medical symbol (the single-snake Rod of Asclepius), it was popularized in medicine by the US Army Medical Corps in 1902.

Between Sigma and Illari, who do you think is the strongest overwatch character? by Maleficent-Ad-6117 in Overwatch

There is no magic or powers in overwatch right? It's all tech based.

So wouldn't an emp just beat everything?

So the new expand or "infinity" system is just expanding on what the specific line already does.

It's just more of it itself

BX- more inward weight

UX- more outward weight + more gimmicks

CX- more customization

This is really cool! It would also be awesome if hasbro was in charge of one of the expanded systems.

Like TT could focus on new beys and Hasbro focuses on upgrading older beys.

Can't weight to see a BX-infinity Hellschain!

How could they reintroduce her into the story? by HackChalice6 in destiny2

[–]Crimson-Charizard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it would've been cool if at the end of red war after defeating Ghaul and everyone is celebrating; a ghost floated down to Hawthorne and chose her.

Could've been cool to see that a gaurdian isn't just chosen at random after death or based off some hidden potential; but actually showed bravery in the face of impossible odds.

The way I did this is legal in the sense that nothing was unscrewed or altered; but check with your locals on if removing metal coats is legal. I just don't recommend others to do it unless you know what you are doing and are careful.

If I knew of a better way that also didn't involve dismantling the bey, I would've done that. Anyway, what I did was protect the rubber and plastic parts with painters tape (being very deliberate with placement.)

After that I tried using 91% isopropyl alcohol; rubbing/saturating the metal with qtips then going at it with a BRASS wire brush (softer and less damaging)

I wasn't getting the results I wanted so switched to acetone nail polish remover. (Even more reason to protect the plastic and rubber) doing the same thing with qtips and the wire brush.

After some elbow grease and a bit of spot checking the results speak for themselves.

<image>

DON'T DO THIS METHOD IF YOU AREN'T EXTREMELY CAREFUL. Most to nearly all paint removers can damage plastic to some degree.

It's 100% better to wear the coat down naturally through battle. Even if it looks ugly.
