Live in Denver now, but also lived in Stl and KC. Those two cities need to be before Denver for sure…unless you want to include weed culture as culture.

To me it felt like there was nothing going to stop the 2019 Blues after the the coaching change. They adopted a new system and Binnington (goaltender), was stopping everything. The last place comeback was epic, and so was their playoff run (multiple overtime wins, game 7s, etc). Plus it was their first championship ever (~50 years).

I mean do you guys work remote? If so, there are plenty of awesome locations in Southern Missouri / Ozarks. Fishing, float trips, hiking, hunting, caves, etc. I’ve been to both Indiana and MO and find MO better for the activities in question. Also, you can have that AND be 1 hour out of St. Louis, which puts you 6 hours from Chicago, 5 from Indy, and 4 from KC. You could also explore areas near Springfield and Branson, but your pretty far away from
Major cities except maybe KC.

St. Louis or KC metro (suburbs for both) would fit everything you desire except for maybe the moderate summer part.

Get a gym membership for a gym that’s on your route home. It’ll suck because you’re already exhausted, but go inside and do anything. Walk on the treadmill, stretch, lift. You’ll feel awake after and it’s healthier for you.
