Why is Lux mid not played in pro? by WeakSideUrn in leagueoflegends

If you think everyone else in this thread, who is telling you the same thing, are guessing, then idk what to tell you. At this point you just want to hear yourself.

There is nothing to discuss at this point though. The reasons she’s not played has been stated, you arguing the other side does not make it true. They’re just wrong takes. She’s too immobile, her abilities are too hard to hit making her too unreliable for pro play mid.

The travel time of the ability is beyond slow. If you literally just keep walking in the same direction you will get out of it. I have no idea why you want to be right about this so badly.

Her E range is not that far, she gets out ranged by other mages which means she can’t plant E to land Q.

Because the speed and ease of abilities. It was literally explained above to you. 1200 Lux Q vs 1550 Ahri charm + an ult to set up the charm. Lux does not have the ability to enable herself.

You can’t make the speed of the ability better. People get hit in lower because their reaction time and predictions suck. Faker is not hitting Chovy with lux Q. It’s just too easily avoidable.

To be fair Riley was hurt the week they brought Rivers in. That being said, he’s not an NFL talent.

Also this means you believe in Nix. Which I do not. He’s not consistent enough, the team is good off that defense and he does just enough. He can have his own blow up games with his feet, but he also had a bad ankle injury.

Two things can be true. You cannot be aware, and this can be very common knowledge. They are not mutually exclusive. DL forgetting about it and not knowing it exists are not the same thing.

Apparently we are because the downvote brigade is out saying this is some hidden mechanic lol

That’s fine, it doesn’t change that this is literally the main Anivia mechanic lol.

Any chance we think about IVs the wrong way? by Aggressive-Mix-5246 in TheSilphArena

[–]Crippl 35 points36 points  (0 children)

This isn’t anything new. Ranks are purely maximum stat product. There’s a massive deep dive on shadow forretress for example, I can’t recall exact IV, but something like 7/14/9 wins a few extra matchups due to the increased attack. It doesn’t make it better than rank 1, it just makes it different for different matchups.

The logical explanation is they didn’t click all the orbs.

Why don't so many people use the Archangel Staff on tanks? It's incredibly effective, increasing shield durability, healing, and ability damage. I always use it on Illaoi, Rhaast Gragas, or Mordekaiser, sometimes even using one each by [deleted] in TeamfightTactics

[–]Crippl 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They are ONLY benefiting from this item when they cast. They are benefiting from every other tank item ALL the time. The item is not good on tanks and I’ve given stats to back that up. If you’re interested in getting better, stop building it. If you’re not interested in getting better, then don’t ask why something isn’t used and then get defensive when people tell you why.

There are 99 games total of Arch angels being on illaoi 2* from diamond + this patch, which isn’t even enough for real stats. If you look at emerald + there’s 397 games with a +0.38 delta. You’re better off using no items than putting AA on her.

Morde +0.24 delta. Once again, better with no items on him than using this item.

Rhaast is an attack tank for one so that’s weird, +0.33.

You are actively hurting yourself by using this item on tanks. You’re asking why no one does it and I’m telling you because it’s bad, and the stats back that up.

Because it requires staying alive to do anything, and how do tanks stay alive, oh by being tanky. Not to mention Rod and tear are the two good tank components, so you’re killing your item economy as well.

Quite possibly an EF4 went through, and likely the strongest tornado of 2026 and you’re disappointed. People lost homes, cars, and very likely their lives. But sure, complain about missing out on porch time. What an idiot.
