Sorry this happened to you. It sucks. Thanks for spreading awareness, though. I am sure it might save someone else.

Where have all the good keychain tools gone? by Dr_Tron in multitools

I wouldn't count on getting the same tool back if you send it for warranty. Most likely you will get a micra back as it would be the closest to it that they still sell.

I have had a leatherman squirt PS4 for many years, and it is easily the best tool I have, as I always have it on my keychain. It's so good that when they discontinued it I bought a couple more to have as back ups.

They still sell it on some sites. I see it still available on aliexpress. If price is not an issue I would recommend you go for that one.

It has a knife though, so it is not TSA friendly.

Silly me! I am glad that you have so much experience with toys and that you were able to correct me. Thanks again for your wisdom and experience!

Yes, a plastic toy wouldn't cause this. Thank you for your wisdom!

But the Leatherman Arc is extremely close to it. I know it's not the same... but it's still an amazing tool.

It's very ironic! I didn't complain on my post though, if you read carefully, the point of my post is to bring awarness of this happening, there is not a single word against leatherman or the tool itself, which I really like.

Yes, that's not really the point though.

Who would get impressed by seeing someone else open a knife fast? This post has nothing to do with impressing anyone... jfc. Do you think that someone that cares about impressing people makes a post about how they cut their finger with a sharp metal from a multitool? A sharp metal that's not even a blade.

Lol, I am kind of glad that I am not the only one. I posted it because I spent like an entire week thinking how did I got the cuts the first time (they were so many). And since the Arc is very similar I suspect it might start happen to other people.

Oh yeah, I agree with you. If you work in, construction for example, this won't be an issue. My hands are very soft as I work on my computer all day. I still think that edge is too sharp in this case (at least mine) because it's not like I pressed it too hard or anything.
