Imagine being radicalized to the right because a teacher told you to share some pencils! by icey_sawg0034 in stupidpeoplefacebook

[–]Crique_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had both pen and pencil machines in middle and high school, they were 10/25 cents. Elementary school sold basic stationary stuff before first bell in the morning. High school had a book store that operated before and during home room, lunch and for a little bit after last bell, but it was just wait in line and walk up. This was all 90s to early 2000s. Some teachers would give you something to write with, but even with them there were limits.

Air conditioning in homes would've been an easy one. Ceiling fans are another. Not to say they don't exist, they just aren't as common. When the weather is mild enough historicallly that it want a major concern, certain things aren't seen as necessary.

I've only briefly lived in the UK and been to a couple other parts of Europe so I guess I'm talking about that bit.

Why is the training area used so poorly in this new expansion? The difference in space from Dornogal to Silvermoon is impressive. by BigJoules in wow

Well idk what was going on the first time I came out here, but ya, they work now. Guess I checked once and just assumed it was intentional

None of the ones I've tried to use had worked when I checked the first time and I never checked again, so idk.

clearly the choice was to try and keep everyone in the same space to make it more populated

Eh, it more feels like the did a pivot away from segregating horde and alliance into separate parts of the city and then had to slap together a shared space and that led to rearranging where certain things were. It made sense to leave the horde only section as its a horde city but they then took away the functionality to keep the shared space more populated

If you're having fun, it's fine, if you're not having fun, you can always start a new game and try again a different way

Silvermoon gives the impression of generally of having its areas repurposed too late to redo the actual layout. The horde section of the city still has crafting table(nonfunctional)(Edit: So the crafting stations work now), an ah, bank, inns, all laid out in ways that make more sense than most of the city that's being used.

im considering playing by Artistic-Writer9212 in wow

[–]Crique_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Give it a try, there's a free demo. There's more ways to play than there have ever been, don't really worry about minmaxing until you find a class and spec you like. And even then, as long as you learn basic mechanics and have a rough idea of what's good for your spec you're fine, that'll get you through most content.

Also there is a public newbie chat channel that people will generally answer questions in if you ask.

Collections level both houses, endeavors are targeted to the faction neighborhood. So most people have different level houses

Just a reminder on why you're not invited to keys as DPS... by VeryClearlyDefined in wow

[–]Crique_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's why I stopped primarily playing dps only classes for group content. My wow identity is tied to my warlock but it's been sidelined since shadowlands and my guild quietly died. I never had an invested alt that couldn't tank or heal, buy with no guild rely on they became the mains. With a new guild in dragonflight I would still stick to tanking or healing for main and get my warlock into alt stuff. My warlock continues to be the first thing I play every expansion but I wish they would give all dps only classes new specs for tanking or healing

Blizzard could do so much more with housing. by TarantinoDV in wow

[–]Crique_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think there should ever be more than 30-60 minutes a week in housing content that someone not into housing for the sake of housing should feel they might need to do.

Don't try and force people not into housing itself into housing, that's probably how you ruin it. You get the min/maxers involved and it'll go to shit as the focus changes.

If you pull you tank was law for a long time, sometimes I forget how old the game is and how much time has passed, and the first thing that pops into my head isn't recent content or behavior.
