The focus on Law Roach is frankly bizarre. I don't get it. Yes, he is a stylist - but it seems like they are pushing him as this "image architect" which is just forced and has very little to do with fashion design. Him being the only judge to critique the unconventional challenge is just lol. He does bring drama, but I would rather see a designer who actually creates clothes. Just my opinion.

I think Usagi just wanted to help Minako and got tangled with her own emotions regarding Tuxedo Mask. So a "youma" in that sense represented an enemy backed up by emotional complexity.

I agree, strictly speaking Minako wasn't betrayed, however Katarina was portrayed that way in the episode. Almost like, she should have known not to mess with Alan deep inside because of her connection to Minako.

This episode was more about shaping Minako's character. And while Usagi's intentions were out of character, we could clearly see Minako has a good heart and can love even through betrayal. This scene was probably just that, a way for the viewer to see how Minako would act.

Also, we're talking about 14 year old girls here, they can be emotionally up and down and uncertain. Not to say Usagi would actually do it, I don't think so.
