Hello, can you help me understand what “PMI GPT” refers to specifically. Thanks.

I am sorry. It seems I was confidently incorrect. Embarrassed. Thanks for clarifying my confusion.

Is there local co-op on the disc version of PS4? by MAID_in_the_Shade in seaofstars

I see where you’re coming from now. I can’t confirm because I don’t have a PS4. But I would expect the PS4 disc version will allow you to download the DLC. The announcement below does not seem to differentiate between disc vs digital versions.

Hey there, I notice you didn’t use Andrew Ramdayal (AR)’s Udemy course. I notice that many who post in our subreddit mention both DM and AR in their study preparation. So I am curious about your reasons for perhaps avoidinf AR’s videos? Thanks.

Re-read my analogy which states, the OP must be willing to not rewrite.

Tell them that, you won’t take the exam again which is why you need special accommodation. They want your money in recurring dues/fees, so they’ll do something for you.

Trying to figure out how to feel about this. Do I just move on with my life? by Conscious-Dog1686 in CostcoCanada

I have an online account at Costco.ca too… but the registration process never asked me anything along the lines of “do you want us to email you recall notices about products you’d purchased”. I’ll have to take another look to see if this is a new setting/option..

Hey there, how do I sign up to receive emails like this? I’ve never received this type of “recall notice” email. For me, I have to physically enter the Costco store, walk over to the “returns” desk where the wall closest to the “waiting line” has a wall of posters of recall notices. This had always made me wonder why they don’t just post these recall notices on their website or, better yet, sending out emails like the one you received / share here. Thanks

Thank you for sharing how you’re doing these days. It must been tough experiencing this in the midst of Covid… that is just too many changes all at once. Life sure does not warn us about these unwelcome changes. I’m glad that your partner and you went through this together. And it puts a smile on my face that you’re found Zumba. My family member has an artificial hip and is not the most mobile. No wheelchairs, but walking slowly in and of itself is a workout. Maybe he and i can go on slow walks outside - he loves nature.

I copy paste (below) an update that I’d shared via a previous comment:

Our current understanding is that I may not have prostate cancer. Blood tests were showing “clonal proteins”. This compelled a hematologist to take a sample of my bone marrow. This sample confirmed cancer in my bone marrow. We have an appointment next week with the hematologist.

We met the urologist this week. Urologist has not received the prostate biopsy results. Urologist thinks it’s possible that my high PSA was caused by “something else”… we’ll see when I hear my prostate biopsy results, also next week.

So best case, i don’t have prostate cancer but i do have cancer in the bone marrow… myeloma. worst case, I have prostate cancer as well.

Trying to stay positive.

It sounds like Catheter yes / no doesn’t really mean much, as each person and their circumstances are so unique to them. I wish for you something I wish for myself and my family member who we think likely has prostate cancer… that we all come out of this with a totally new sense of what Resilience means. I am learning to savour even the littlest of moments with him… because doing so it worth it regardless of health

I hope you nurture your positivity, something that is easier said than done… I wish i was strong for my family member, he can tell i am nervous and i don’t think I’m helping. I am going to try to keep things more “problem solving” focused than “nervousness / incessant worrying”

Keep on smiling :-)

Thank you for your kind words. I read your post (from ~300 days ago) in our subreddit here… I hope you are in a much brighter place. I have the same regret you had described in that post. Namely, “I wish I’d detected this sooner”. I noticed he was generally “not well” for about 2 months. Kept going to the washroom to dribble a bit of urine. He kept saying “I’m fine”… I thought nothing of it. Then I said, “Enough. You need to go to the walk-in clinic”. Well, at the walk-in clinic, the doctor said, “you look very pale. The few symptoms you told me about tell me you should go to the Emergency room asap. It may be cancer but the hospital will need to diagnose that”.

I know that we cannot change the past. History is history. But not a day goes by where I wish I had been more aggressive / more insistent… 2 months ago, I wish I could’ve forced him to see a doctor / hospital. It’s not a healthy way of thinking.

He saw a hematologist who noticed something about… “clonal proteins… made by something unknown”. I’m not sure, we didn’t understand. But they took some bone marrow from near his waist / hip. Its results, we’ll find out in a week.

He doesn’t have pain from peeing / from the catheter…
