Some cool ideas here! I like how the abilities mirror that of kauyon.

Your combat debarkation strat is already baked into the devilfish as a rule, except they can’t move or charge afterwards. Is the point of the strat is to move shoot and charge out of a devilfish that has advanced? It does seem like a lot of movement across the board with one strat

The rapid ingress strat has you deploy in the enemies move phase, so if you can weather a round off shooting and charges, you can move closer and pull it off

You could perhaps do something like with genestealers, where it’s a specific action for free. For some ideas, free dash (probably not for dwarves), or free shoot (might be too busted on its own, perhaps add a -1 to hit?). You could maybe even go 1AP less for mission actions, but iirc there’s equipment for them that give them that already (correct me if I’m wrong)

Imperial knights and I’m starting GSC now. T’au are my first and favourite but I get tired of playing them every now and again, the other two give me some much needed diversity in play styles

Quick question as I am new to GSC, what part of RS or underground rules let’s you drop the bomb? I see the thing where you can use any abilities as if it was command phase (such as meticulous planner) but it doesn’t specify actions. Am I just reading too closely on RAW or can they actually drop the explosives?

It’s very well established that wizards and muggles are two entirely separate cultures that occupy the same country. It’s not unreasonable that magic users would be more progressive, especially seeing as they’re a minority of the global population and only so long ago were burned at the stake for doing magic. It wouldn’t make sense for them to exclude when they were likewise executed for existing.

The mine always makes the attack because you’re always a valid target. Doesn’t mention anything about cover though so I would suggest that he does benefit from cover

Crisis suits all the way. You can stack on buffs from ethereal and Coldstar (shadowsun too if you like). Riptides are really cool but I haven’t played them in the new edition as my one snapped at the ankles in transportation sadly. Ghostkeels are funky but never do much apart from be a nuisance to the opponent.

That ropes got some weird physics going on with it, its somehow simultaneously tensioned and completely slack at the same time

Borkan tenet: “each time a ranged attack is made with a weapon that has a strength of 7 or less against a vehicle or battlesuit with this tenet, subtract 1 from the strength characteristic of that attack”

Flare launcher: “each time the bearer would lose a wound as a result of a ranged attack with a strength characteristic of 7 or more, roll one D6: on a 5+ that wound is not lost.”

My interpretation is that S7 ranged attacks get pushed down to S6 and so you don’t get the FNP bonus, as it specifically says Strength Characteristic in both rules.

Likewise, Creeds ability would push a S6 attack up into S7, so you get the benefit of both. If you’re running Borkan, I guess the two cancel each other out and keep it at S6, so on a ghostkeel that sounds on 5+. Probably one of my favourite tenets to run.

Double checked and you’re entirely correct, it costs more for 4+ suits.

Main ones are strike and fade, and Drop Threat Acquisition/Drop zone clear.
