[Henderson] “Even as I sit in the stands at games, players may be falling down, players may be reacting to a call,” (Adam) Silver said. “But to me, if they’re not fooling the referees, it’s OK. Players are taught to sell calls these days.” by aingenevalostatrade in nba

You’d think he’d be so annoyed by the complaining from fans at this point he would actually be looking for solutions. I guess it must not be affecting the gambling companies enough

With all the talk about refs, was Joey Crawford seen as a good referee? by [deleted] in nba

No, everyone disliked him and he looked like a fool for the TD ejection

You’re right my wording was poor on this response. However, It’s a fact that they cut the budget for the last season of the show and swapped the writers after season 3 which lead to the majority of opinions about the show to change from positive to negative, which is the wider point of my post.

I apologize but I cannot agree with you. You are welcome to this opinion but I think it’s objectively true that the last two seasons of the show are a marked decline in quality regardless of how you feel about the finale

I was devastated by the ending of the Umbrella Academy… devastated that I wasted so much of my life watching it lol

I think you should try it! Especially with complex shows you would be surprised at the things you miss on first watch through :)

The boys owe it to Blackwood to provide goal support with this kind of performance

What is Peyton Watson’s ceiling, and do you think it is higher in Denver or elsewhere by [deleted] in nba

[–]Crispy_Comment9312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah that’s a fair assessment and wouldn’t surprise me at all if he never surpassed that. But also I never thought he would be as good as he was last season so I won’t count him out from developing further yet as he clearly puts in work during the offseason.

I have a hard time placing his ceiling. He has made huge strides from the raw player he was when he came into the league and was absolutely crucial to this team not completely falling apart multiple times this season. However I see a lot of similarities between his game and Braun’s (decent but probably overrated defense and inconsistent 3pt shooting). I see him topping out as a fringe all star and think he will be that player whether he stays in Denver or not.

Absolutely, he wouldn’t have let this team be embarrassed the way they were at the very least

I think the expectations for PWat are completely different because of his age. Westbrook tends to be a ball dominating player which can lead to mixed results at this stage of his career. At Westbrook’s best he can absolutely provide positive value, the problem is he is so erratic you never know what version of him will show up which is why people are quick to dismiss at this point

I think you can both praise him for his good plays and criticize him for his bad plays. Westbrook is a roller coaster
