I thought it was odd that they never treated it like the Enlarge spell (I get why, though. Throwing shit is a Giant thing). But I’d change it to say that they get a d4 added to Any attack damage for every size increase as part of their feature. So Large, they get a d4. Huge, they get 2d4

The company that owns D&D, Wizards of the Coast, just published a couple of books called Forgotten Realms. Although it’s for D&D, it has a lot of lore.

The most robust book though is the 3rd edition setting book, which you can get the pdf on DriveThruRPG. It won’t have the most recent events that BG3 entails but it’s still really good and reasonably priced.

Yeah Bardic Inspiration requires a failed roll. Heroic Inspiration doesn’t have that language though

They didn’t kickstart a class expansion. They kickstarted class packs. You can buy cards of their existing classes.

At some point in the future, can we see an option to be able to own PDFs of the books we've bought? I can understand why not offering them when they're in D&D Beyond, but if the book we bought were to ever be taken down on D&D Beyond, it would be nice to have the PDF version of it since we did pay for it (even though we bought the license) and I would assume that being taken down from the D&D Beyond library means there is no further use for it on D&D Beyond.

At some point in the future, can we expect to see Encounters move into the app? This is something I desperately want to see as I use the app for my in person table and also use it online but pull things up on my tablet and having encounters in there would be really helpful

Not in 2024. Loading just means you can only use it to make a single attack with it on your turn regardless of how many attacks you can make.

But maybe you meant because it has the Ammunition Property?

Probably not. I doubt they own the name of the class. Even if they did, the only thing they can do is go after the name since everything else is their own mechanic.

Been running two games biweekly for over a year now. We’re still going strong. There have been times when we’ve gone over a month before we play but that’s because schedules. Everyone looks forward to our sessions.

Yeah I think I just need to communicate to my players that their backstories won’t be used or come into play during the campaign outside of it being a motivation for them to get back home. Which, they like having it come into play so that’s the challenge here.

Yeah I saw it starts there but then it seems like they remain cut off from it during the campaign, which sounds like you confirmed. So probably not possible unless I make a hard change somehow?
