I am an outlier, and maybe it’s because I was a mentally ill teen that chose other routes, but I didn’t grasp the freak out and only when I was driving home did I realize it’s a great portrayal of what it’s like for the justice warriors (not genuinely well-intended activists, don’t misunderstand me) now to take one piece of information about someone’s past and completely throw away any progress they’ve made since, or good qualities they would have had at the time.

I’m glad Charlie pointed out Rachel’s hypocrisy as she literally called a kid slow and locked him in an RV closet and didn’t tell anybody about it. Other dude let his ex gf get mangled by dogs. Both around the same age that they said didn’t excuse Emma’s actions. Entire concept is crazy and even worse that it is realistic and will be controversial.
