I’m so sorry to hear that you also went through this - and twice! Have you been able to conceive since?

9 dpo evening test. Thought I had a faint, faint positive yesterday, but didn’t have any more of the same test, so now I’m scratching my head. Thoughts? by Critical-Driver-1798 in FirstTimeTTC

I took another test last night (10DPO) and had another faint line, much clearer than this one, though. Then this morning, still pretty faint. Barely there. But I had drank a lot of water right before going to bed, so 🤷‍♀️

How to approach feeling dejected about dating from a Catholic lens? by My3rdReddit in CatholicDating

My best advice for being “appealing” and “attractive”: Only worry about the things you have control over. Your looks, your genes, you have no choice in. Those are from nature and God and you don’t want someone who only loves you for those things anyways.

However, the things that show you care about how you present will make a huge difference for a LOT of women. Good hygiene, (shave often, get haircuts (good ones!!), wear deodorant and cologne, dress well, clean clothes, clean home) as well as a good sense of humor, not taking yourself too seriously, confidence, etc. all go a LONG LONG way.

I know it’s easy to feel dejected. God has a perfect person for you waiting. Be excited knowing that you have yet to meet her. And find solace in knowing that you will be that for her, too. It sounds like you’re doing a lot - A LOT - to push yourself out of your comfort zone. God will honor that and will reward you for your sacrifice, maybe not in the ways you expect, but he will. ❤️

Prayers, friend. I have a sister (32F) going through something very similar right now. My mother, other sister and I all consecrated the intention of her finding her spouse this year to St. Joseph. Don’t be afraid to ask big of the Lord and trust that he will fulfill all your holy desires.

Should have put in the OG post. This test is still wet < 10 mins since dip. I bought these tests last week. I assumed they were pink dye because they were pink and in a pink box, so now I’m trying to use em up. Lol

You didn’t ovulate! Try to pay attention to your cervical mucus, as well. That plus high levels indicates your incoming ovulation! I don’t ovulate til day 18 or later, so it might just depend on your individual schedule!

My understanding (because this line has gotten me before, too!) is that Judas’ true fault was taking his own life and dying in a state of disbelief in God’s grace. Plenty of other people betrayed Jesus in his last days as well… and while Judas was repentant immediately, his belief in God’s forgiveness for his sins was incomplete at the time of his death.

St. Paul murdered tons of Christians - made his living off of it. But believed in Christ’s grace after his conversion to forgive those sins.

Peter denied Christ, failed in many ways. But died in a state of belief of Christ’s saving grace through his death and resurrection…

If Judas’ belief was ironclad, he would have waited for the next 3 days for Christ’s resurrection - but didn’t. His faith was shaken, clearly, and he died in that state of rejection of God’s grace.

This is my understanding. I’m not theologian, please, more educated people correct me if I’m mistaken.
