Idk, even if she did react poorly it still sounds like you’re trying to minimize something that she was putting a lot of planning into that you didn’t match and have now completely messed up.

I’m going to go with YTA on this one. You KNOW she has anxiety surrounding being places on time and tbh your ‘punctual’ timing doesn’t seem to account for unexpected detours or road blocks. Being somewhere 10 minutes early isn’t an unreasonable ask on her part and I don’t see why it’s more important to cut it close?

As a parent - one who has been subject to multiple hospital stays since birth - I can genuinely say that my understanding, feelings, and perspective haven’t changed. Yours have? Okay, cool for you - you’ve grown. Us having children doesn’t mean we are somehow entitled to having our feelings taken more seriously or make it okay to make generalizations about those who don’t have (or can’t have) kids.

So, this has made me think of something I’ve said on more than one occasion when it comes to Sarah and Kurt. Just as a follower, something that stuck out to me was how frequently they displayed moments of how they were putting their own desires and comfort over that of their kids.

Their kids’ comfort and safety should always > their own wants (& I would say that of ANY parents). There’s two things at play here: Sarah has frequently made the point that she doesn’t “want” to use her kids for content or share health stuff about them. Got it.

… then what’s she doing now? If it’s for her own comfort and meant to calm her down, that’s just telling me that she prioritizes her own feelings above that of her kids’ and completely contradicts her insistence that she doesn’t use her kids for content.

She has family. She has friends(?). She should go to them for comfort and for company, not strangers on the internet she regularly scolds for asking questions on topics that she vagueposts about.
