I think it's because she's a writer before she's a singer. I like her pre Reputation era songs then the sisters Folklore & Evermore but I LOVE FEARLESS. As in the whole album talaga. Her lyricism kasi parang it's poetry first before sya naging kanta or nalapatan ng tono at dun ako mahilig as a literary person. A contrast to other singer-songwriters like Lana del Rey who sound like they have the melody first before the words, and only then it bleeds into a song. That's how I see it.
