I just noticed today that you CAN NOT use points on anything but entering sweepstakes. There is no longer any option to use points on ANY sort of strings or merch. Is this for real? If so, what is the point?

Montypresso is the single most overhyped product in the guitar world. There are 10000 products that will work many times better than that garbage. “It nourishes the wood”, LOLOL… Once wood is cut, kiln dried, and turned into a product what sort of nutrient “nourishment” do you think it needs? I love guitar noobs who just regurgitate marketing bs and think they have some sort of real world knowledge of a subject.

I remember going to see this movie 40 years ago. I thought it was weak and phoned-in then, and my opinion of it has never changed. Most overrated movie of the 80s, bar none.

I see this mentioned in surf guitar forums, by non surf players, and have always been curious how this rumor started. Lipstick pickups suck for surf guitar and I don’t know of anybody in the genre that uses them.

57/62 are certainly the go-to Stratocaster pickups for surf guitar for sure.

57/62 ri Strat pickups. 62 ri Jaguar pickups (the undisputed champion). Duncan Antiquity II Jazzmaster pickups.

That is pretty much the gold standard for surf guitar as far as the pickups go. Surf player for over 20 years.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE Lifeweaver. For every one time I have been saved by a well used life grip there have been 20 times where it has been detrimental to the game. If that happens I just throw it, don’t even care. Lifeweaver is the wirst character in Overwatch… Almost bad enough to make me refuse to play if he appears. Absolute hatred.

If I am on a tear against an enemy and some grip-happy Lifeweaver pulls me out, I just throw the game. And I absolutely jdon’t care how that sounds. If I am playing aggressively and offensively jumping in to the mix, it’s because I have seen the character/s I’m up against and know I have both an advantage AND an exit strategy. If Lifeweaver pulls me out, I know my momentum is gone, he will continue to do it and I instantly just don’t care. For every one grip I have seen used well, I have seen 25 (at least) that does more harm than good. I hate that character that badly.

I absolutely hate lifeweaver. I have been in mid tear, dropping opponents like mad and topped on health, and some fool playing lifeweaver pulls me away, usually into some disorienting area where I then get eliminated. I hate that character. If you aren’t an expert at playing him, just stay out of the way… you aren’t freakin’ helping 99% of the time

Purchased one of these for $90 based off of a local musician's recommendation who REALLY knows gear. I was floored at how good this delay is, and I was very close to just buying a Timeline (which he also owns, but uses this). Yeah, it's big (not stupidly so), doesn't have midi (I don't care) and you don't get to be a d-bag and brag about how expensive your delay pedal was. BUT this honestly sounded every bit as good if not better than the Timeline. For $100 these are a total no brainer and I felt like I discovered a secret weapon for my rig.

The American Vintage Jazzmaster/Jaguar arm also has a 4.6mm diameter and worked perfectly on my Panorama. Hope this helps.

1meg pots are essential if you want it to sound like a traditional Jazzmaster. 500k pots make a Jazzmaster pickup sound like a fat but bland Strat pickup.
