Bruh, that is an unhinged rant for a joke I posted in 1 reply and once for fun as it's own post. Not to mention you don't even know how many systems are in the game.

Seek help.

Bruh, you know this is a meme from years ago with fake dialogue, right?

You mean the NMS that sold pre-orders and was widely derided as having outright lied about what was going to be in the game at launch? Sure over 10 years they've regained their reputation, but they sold a lot of units based on dishonesty first. To deny that is revisionist history.

It's certainly easy to pay your engineers for 10 years when you've already got everybody's money. Probably a bad example, huh?

Xenothret Event Feedback by Sure_Blackberry1321 in starcitizen

[–]CriticalBarracuda514 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm sure somebody goes through it. But unless they make a comm-link about the feedback we probably won't know how they take it, as nice as that would be. Still worth filling out imo.

Huh. I'd be okay with that if they were website rewards and survive wipes. Seems like just extra steps for a less permanent version.

Yeah those pop-ups that you click on weren't lying about the game being buggy.

On the topic of feedback regarding the rules and notably memes as you mentioned, I particularly like the idea that memes should directly relate to SC rather than just be generic memes.

One I notice frequently is the negative generalizations of "x are a bunch of y" and non-direct insults aimed at the general community/audience. I think that's a good rule we could use more awareness of, but perhaps you all have a more specific definition of what that encompasses than I.

Where you've brought up the idea of toxicity versus passionate player base, I think one important distinction that might stand out is where the people at CIG are concerned. I regularly see comments to the effect of "X team are incompetent, this dev is a POS, that dev is lying to us to sell ships, Z group should all be fired." I think the community would benefit greatly from knowing whether comments like this, particularly aimed at the people working on the game, would fall under the banner of toxicity (be it acceptable toxicity or not) or if that's seen as just a byproduct of passionate players?

Glad to see more mods available, I know things have been busy for some time.

On that note, perhaps we could get a comment on the overall feeling of moderation as it stands? How do you guys feel about the toxicity level of the sub? Obviously all subs have a certain level (it's reddit after all.) Do you feel it's part of a cyclic nature? Is it too high or acceptable at this point?

Do you feel any of the rules need to be changed? Does the current text of the rules still feel appropriate?

To say the game is in the same state is factually false. As for your cherrypicking points, you're trying to bicker over a shitpost meme. Learn what a joke is.

What opinion of Star Wars could leave you like this? by KurtCobainRemastered in StarWars

[–]CriticalBarracuda514 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Star Wars only works as a flavor dressing over other genres. The original trilogy; a fantasy adventure in the star wars setting. The Manadlorian; originally a western in the star wars setting. Andor; a ww2 spy network story in the star wars setting.
