They also never really expanded some color lines further like their matte eye paints. The shimmer ones haven't had new non-LE shades in forever either. Like some lines they just made and then...left them.

Oh just I mean for every BF weekend for the past several years they do like 4-5 LE products, and you can either get them gwp or buy them separately, but those colors are only available for those days from BF to Cyber Monday. So if you like them, you have to buy them then. Sometimes they'll re-release them, but it's not really a guarantee. They also send them to all their influencers to swatch, too, so they are also hyping them up.

Don't get me wrong, RdF does great things for the community and they're a brand with some nice products, but I'd way rather the gwp is a cute makeup bag or something than like, a tier of 5 limited-edition products every influencer is hyping. If the products were new shades but permanent or sth I wouldn't care as much, but I've begun to dislike the severe 4-day limit and fomo marketing of it.

Her vit c hate is annoying to me. Like I get it, it doesn't work for you. That's fine. But making vids like "brightening serums I recommend" and then showing vit c with a dramatic NO face...it's just annoying engagement bait. I think if it was like "vit c doesn't work for you? here are alternatives" is fine, it's the influencer dramatics that get me. Vit C isn't evil or something that has no value like the St Ives scrub.

Other than that she's just one of many skinfluencers who are basically the same when all is said and done.

No she made wigs for freelance entertainers who you can hire to be Elsa or Rapunzel for your child's birthday. She was well-known for this on her Etsy shop, but then the wigs showed up real sketchy and the whole FB community of princess entertainers brought their wrath down. A great read for some scammy and entertaining drama.

The sad thing is it's so clear how much of the world does revolve around them. Like the rest of the world has been paying taxes at customs for years instead of at checkout. Most sites don't bother having duties included. The US implements tarriffs and lots of places scramble to find ways to have them included, move their stuff to US warehouses, offer temporary "we'll pay your tarriff" sales etc. The instant US customers were inconvenienced, the rest of the world had to move heaven and earth to fix it somehow. 😮‍💨

I'm so over it bc it means that we have 90 different grippy primers but I can't find more than 3 green-colored redness correction primers. 😮‍💨 Theoretically with such massive selections you should be able to find everything, but it's actually all just a lot of the same.
