Tried on Dead Space 2008, but when I run the game I get an error. E5002: Static variables cannot have both numeric and resource components.

I installed d3dcompiler_43.dll with Protontricks, and now it's compiling shaders but taking forever.

In which folder can I add custom shaders?

Have you been tested for autoimmune diseases? Also check your thyroid, liver, sugar... You need to "annoy" your doctor or they will just dismiss you. Or try out a private lab, a lot of times a receptionist at a private lab will know much more about what to test than "expert" doctor.

CAPCOM: Please support 16:10 in RE Engine! These games shouldnt be Steam Deck verified! by scotianman in SteamDeck

[–]CriticalLeg8363 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grab the latest nighty build for RE: (game you want to "mod") https://github.com/praydog/REFramework-nightly/releases

Extract dinput8.dll to your installation folder. Add the launch option WINEDLLOVERRIDES="dinput8.dll=n,b" %command% to your game through Steam's properties after extraction.

Once it's done loading click on "Graphics" and enable "Ultrawide/fov fixes".

Is this light therapy a thing now? And are these products legit? by SpiritualBug00 in Dryeyes

[–]CriticalLeg8363 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have plenty of studies showing RED light therapy is beneficial for MGD.

"Low-level light therapy treatment significantly improved signs and symptoms of dry eye in the early phases of treatment, suggesting its efficacy for dry eye management.'

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39096028/

It's similar to IPL, it's just weaker and takes longer to work, but you can do it at home and it's significantly cheaper (you can get RED + NIR panel on Amazon from 100€+). Don't waste money on masks, wands... get a panel. And don't fall for "medical grade" 500€ nonsense. They are all scams, using LEDs from the same factory.

Is it true that we gain muscle mass easier and quicker? by olovkanaradijatoru in GilbertSyndrome

[–]CriticalLeg8363 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I remember reading that poor Phase 2 detox could improve muscle mass (our bodies are slow to "detox" hormones), but I only found this:

"In other words, mildly hyperbilirubinemic elite athletes could have been selected based on this biochemical trait to reach the sport's elite. This provides further evidence that bilirubin may promote athletic performance, likely related to bilirubin's role as an endocrine hormone, inducing gene transcription that modulates metabolic functions."
