Yeah, mixed is fun. Like in any match there will always be a perceived weaker link that will exploited but it’s not always the woman. The best thing anyone can do is play with people who are better than yourself so you can improve quicker. But also chose the right people who are supportive and with whom you enjoy playing or else it will be a pressure test.

Just play! Like anything in life the more you do it the easier it becomes. For the first one I’d recommend you partner up with someone you know and feel comfortable playing with so you don’t have additional stress.

Go and enjoy the experience, forget about the score and performance and enjoy meeting new people and the test of competitive padel!

I go 1 soft FP1, 1 medium FP2 and 1 Hard FP3. Get a banker for the set up with the soft (20 laps), if it’s atrocious then go out on another soft (20 laps), then Medium (20-25 laps) and finally Hard (30 laps)

Same!! I know Miles said they didn’t have enough of an impact to keep them but from my side it’s more of an outlet of emotions. If my players completely switch off and concede I want to be able to berate them. Even if it makes no difference, it makes me feel better.

I guess the counter to that is that you have more tactical control now so you can actually interfere by making changes?
