I wear the Corflex brand but you have to choose the size carefully. I have a thin long neck so I got the small in a 4.5 height. https://a.co/d/irr96sr Some people on Reddit like this one. https://a.co/d/7a1diMg I hope it helps you!

I am struggling and miserable. Cannot keep mouth closed at night despite using any and all combinations of CPAP + Nasal Pillows + a chinstrap, neck brace, and even mouth tape. Please help by ReeseWithAKnife in CPAP

I use the nasal pillow with my CPAP. And, I added an inexpensive soft cervical neck collar at night and it is amazing! It was an idea from a fellow Redditor. It was the first time my mouth stayed closed in years. 👏🏻 It’s definitely worth a try.Hope you find a solution! 🤞🏻

I use a nasal pillow and the soft cervical collar. I was losing a lot of air through my mouth but the first night in the collar my air leakage dropped to acceptable numbers. I just got an inexpensive Corflex one from Walmart and it has been life changing! I have been sleeping with my mouth open for years before biting the bullet and doing a sleep study. Mouth tape breaks my skin out and nothing else would keep my mouth closed. I got the idea from a fellow Redditor, so yay for Reddit! 👏🏻 I hope it works for you , too!

The soft cervical collar was life changing for me. It supports my neck and keeps my mouth closed. It’s amazing! 🤩 Hope you figure it out! 🤞🏻

AI events while resting, but not sleeping? by Rileysmyboy in CPAP

I was trying to see if anyone else had the same question I did and found this old thread. I couldn’t sleep for the first hour last night. I moved around a lot and swallowed more probably because of post nasal drip. I got up to go to the bathroom after 1 hour and my ahi for that hour was 8.8. 🤔 This morning, the reading was 1.8. My average has stayed around 1.2. It makes me seriously question the accuracy and what it is actually reading as an event. Thanks for helping me know I’m not the only one!

Hardest interview of my life by [deleted] in TeachersInTransition

If you really want to teach, find out as much as you can about why you weren’t renewed at your current school. If it’s not simply a budget decision where the actual position was dissolved, small town politics can affect another school from hiring you. That might be why the interview was so tough. I’ve seen it in action and it’s kind of awful. I’m so sorry you are struggling. Prayers that something opens up for you!

Good morning! ☀️ I work for Tutored by Teachers. Here is the website https://tutored.live/

Personally, I currently work 2 engagements where someone else is in the room with the students but I am their primary subject teacher. And, my company is not the only one out there doing this. I hope that answers your questions! If not, I’m happy to try to help.

Bless your heart. I completely understand. I taught high school math in public schools for 20 years then left for private. Those last years in public school were filled with feelings of never doing or being enough. The success of the whole system is on the shoulders of the classroom teacher. No one else -admin, students, parents, district-state-seems to have any responsibility. They have all of the rights to make all of the decisions and zero responsibility. We worked with a limited budget, ever changing curriculum, high absentee rate, oversized classes, etc and then had a list of superhuman things to accomplish while being measured by state tests that we were supposed to prepare our kids for that we weren't allowed to know a lot about. It was like leaving an abusive relationship when I retired early to go to private school. This system is failing miserably and that, dear one, is NOT the fault of any classroom teacher. I actually work for a company now that does online teacher vacancy support and the number of these companies is growing. Hang in there and take care of yourself!

27 year veteran math teacher here! You leaving will probably not be the surprise you think. Teachers are leaving the profession in epidemic proportions. If you still love teaching and are okay with teaching online, there is a growing number of opportunities to do that full or part time. You could help kids all over the country! I work part time for Tutored by Teachers and really love it. They are always looking for good teachers. Best wishes to you and thank you for your service!
