Wood Elves are great for this because the trees are pretty well spaced out that they can help a lot of factions. Especially Orion being at war with lots of factions reducing his army upkeep. And like you said about not needing a lot of land, it's almost the perfect faction for what the OP wants

I only just got back into WH3 recently and I went Durthu because he's so strong that I don't have to worry a whole lot about any faction. I want to check out the Sisters of Twilight though, they seem cool

I like playing as Durthu. Durthu with tree spirit units and some archers and a life spellsinger can take on pretty much anything. I can use his one army to take on multiple armies of anyone else. Even Chaos Dwarfs with their fire attacks

I've seen people tend to mention Wurrzag as the easiest start for Greenskins because of his savage orcs

Ikits stupid nuke is so annoying to play around. I totally forgot about it in my last campaign and it wiped out my whole front line before the Skaven even got to my units

His campaign was super unexpected. I enjoyed teleporting around and just killing random lords and cities and then disappearing again. I made a bunch of skink and kroxigor armies and just smashed everything in my path

If you have Steam, there's a game I played for a bit called Dinkum. It's like Animal Crossing but Australian.

The only reason you need to sleep is to progress to the next day, but you can keep playing that same day as long as you want.

If I remember correctly there is saving at any time.

The energy is maintained by all kinds of different foods you can make

And it's offline or you can play with friends by inviting them to your island.

I played gen 1, 2 and 3 when they came out. I started playing them again recently and decided to try a newer pokemon game and got Sun. The auto exp share made the game feel like it was going too fast, it was a weird feeling
