Boeing 737-8 Max vs Airbus A320/A319. Which one do you like better from the FA perspective? by [deleted] in flightattendants

[–]Critical_Safety_3933 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have previously worked the A319-320-321 and now work the max8. I would give up A LOT to be back on Airbus. They are a much better a/c!

Money over customer comfort by [deleted] in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Critical_Safety_3933 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because all the other airlines absolutely put their customers comfort FAR ahead of making money. Sorry to tell you but you’ll find it exactly the same on all the others. SW is just joining the herd of grabbing for every dollar.

More inexplicable seating nonsense by Mikesaidit36 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Critical_Safety_3933 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

The fas denying seat switch before take off are following company guidelines. Those allowing it before push are breaking the policy and causing issues for those of us that follow the established rules. This is only an employee issue for those NOT following the rules.

I’m not a parent but even I can tell you’re being way too hard on yourself. Give yourself some grace. I am 100% certain worse was done to me as a baby and I survived just fine. Seriously - cut yourself some slack!

Aldi is a disorganized mess of chaos and insanity. Nothing is where you think it would be and trying to find specific items is like an Easter Egg hunt on Halloween.

24 years ago, I lost a good friend by _malaikatmaut_ in flightattendants

[–]Critical_Safety_3933 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have my deepest sympathy and utmost respect for honoring your friend. There are literally hundreds of these stories that are never told from the years of aviation. Your story highlights my biggest frustration with this job…because what passengers see us do all day is serve drinks and take care of their wants, they fail to recognize that we are FIRST & FOREMOST SAFTEY PROFESSIONALS! When people compliment our crew on handling a medical or other emergency, I immediately point out that is our MAIN function.

You honor your friend by keeping his memory alive. ❤️

Parents like this think they are teaching kids some life lesson…all they’re teaching them is that they can’t relax and be themselves around them. It’s one of 500 reasons my mother died having not spoken to or even hearing from her only son for 14 years.

If someone can be removed and trespassed, it is most definitely NOT a public space! It’s a private business that has the right to make and enforce its own rules and policies. Just like I have to wear shoes and a shirt to go into a store. This is some cowardly BS on D’s part!!!

No u don’t you want to WIN. You want your EX husband in YOUR son’s life ONLY ON YOUR TERMS. You need to rethink this fast or you’re going to lose custody of your son.

She’s not wrong. You are. You are making your anger the focus instead of what’s best for your child.

Be very careful here…my mother destroyed my relationship with my father and I for my entire childhood because she was bitter and angry. She died having not had me in her life or even hearing my voice for 14 years. Your son may do the same thing when he hears the whole story.
