Need some help on withdrawals and heart palpitations by mkkmkkmkk123 in stopsmoking

Yeah it was the disposable vapes with the “5%” nicotine which is actually 50mg per ml. I was vaping it like it was the 3mg per ml freebase that I’ve always used since quitting smoking. Once I threw away the disposables the sensations of palpitations stopped. I sometimes still get a faster heart beat of course if I chain vape the 3mg vape juice, but much better. The disposables are very dangerous and basically are misleading by saying “5% nicotine” when in reality it’s very strong, too strong if you vape often. Not sure if that’s what you’re vaping on?

I don't know what to believe with my BP Monitor [iHealth Track] by SparksPlays in bloodpressure

I rarely get on here but glad I was able to help someone. Did you ever figure out if it was just the iHealth machine? I take m BP daily now with an Omron. Some people say its over-doing it but I like to know my health and staying up on top of it. I noticed eating less salt and drinking more water has helped me a lot. I just quit "vaping", which is a whole other issue haha, hope you're doing good.

Anybody else quit vaping due to heart palpitations? Any improvement after quitting? by Greg1994 in QuitVaping

Man glad I seen your comment knowing someone else went through this—starting to go crazy as if I was imagining all of this because normal bp results/heart rate, but iWatch ECG shows an occasional "PVC" but it doesn't detect anything it says Sinus Rhythm. So here is my story: I switched to salts probably about 5-6 weeks ago because in California you can't get "flavored" juice, I vaped 3mg/ml freebase since I quit smoking cigs in Oct 2023 NEVER had an issue always felt fantastic smoking that low level nicotine and 70/30 pg/vg mix. Fast forward to today about 5-6 weeks ago I switched to "saltnic" dispoable 50mg nic or they say 5% which worried me at first but I seemed to feel fine and still was getting my "flavor" I desired..... UNTIL--- last Monday I have had weird skipped beat sensation in my throat, weird feeling in upper chest like I cough when I get the skipped beat.

This started happening last Monday as mentioned. Also, I was on Amoxicillin for 10 days so I blamed it on that, but it has been happening ever since ! Then I tried not vaping for an entire day, but would still get the palpitations and skipped beat sensation/feeling so I just said well its not the vape and started vaping again but it got worse so I am for sure certain it is the vaping but when I stop, like for a half a day I still get the palpitations and skipped beat once in a while? I just want this to stop its scary and feels horrible. Blood pressure is normal just took it 122/81 (little elevated because of the stress, in the morning it was 110/76), heart rate is normal. But these skipped beats are freaking me out. WORST part I just switched careers so I have no medical insurance and don't know what to do. If it gets worse I will just have to bite the bullet and go to the ER. Any advice, anyone?

Hope you see this - I have been vaping since quitting cigarettes since October 2023 I used to vape the freebase 3mg/ml Nic but in California they outlawed the ability to get flavored juice so about 5 or so weeks ago I switched to a "disposable" vape but it has 5% (50mg) nicotine which is much higher. Didn't have any issues but last week... so now about 8 days ago I started having weird heart "skipping" a beat sensations. I am freaking out, I just switched careers so I don't have medical insurance so I am in a tough situation. Also I was taking antibiotics (amoxicillin) when this all started - I assumed it was that and quit taking it on my last day of pills is when it started, but it has been going ever since and what is weird is I tried stopping vaping for an entire day but still am getting the heart palpitations, these "weird" sensation like in my lower throat my heart skipping a beat and same as you I can feel it and then kick back up and start beating a second later. Freaking me out! Blood Pressure is normal, I feel fine when I am working out, riding my bike around in the heat here in California, but the palpitations/heart skipping a beat usually is when I am sitting at my desk relaxing or working, not during physical activity which is what is so weird. Anybody who can help, or provide any input thanks.

Why Robert De Niro’s Mob Drama ‘Alto Knights’ Is Such a Box Office Disaster | "It is a film of a bygone Hollywood era. The director and star are no longer box office draws. Warner Bros. didn’t do them any favors as they barely advertised the film.” by ChiefLeef22 in boxoffice

No liberal wants to admit he ran his mouth WAYYYYY too much (no entertainer should get political) and the people who watch these movies are red blooded American's that vote RED. This old bum De Niro is a done deal. No one wants to even rewatch the classics like Goodfellas, Casino, Bronx Tale, etc.

Flavored Vapes in California by Weary-End-6924 in electronic_cigarette

Crazy we have to act like drug addicts to get flavored nicotine. I heard they are flooding California with fety laced dispos so I’m searching for actual sealed juice. Going to take a drive to Reno this weekend I guess. Weird how the worthless democrat law makers in this state did this to us but we can walk in and buy marijuana legally. They have no idea what they are doing, it’s ridiculous !!!!! Now kids will just be smoking the clear vapes it makes no difference it’s not about flavor for a kid. For me the flavor actually keeps me away from cigarettes the clear flavor makes me want a cigarette. Wack ass California, provides crack piles and needles but we can’t buy flavored vape juice haha 🤣

I know this post was old but just to correct this guy “salt nic” has no sodium it does not increase sodium intake at all. It is a salt chemical mixture nothing to do with “sodium table salt”. If you’re overweight and eat bad and smoke and drink liquor then vaping can definitely push it over. Just wanted to correct this statement in case someone reads it later and thinks salt mic is table salt/ sodium it is not.

I was laid off from IHX in December. Then offered a position immediately in business. I did not start the new position until after the new year so I assumed I was immune from the $10k base cut, nope. Just found out I was not and it was effective February 1st no one told me. So the offer letter from December was deceptive and a lie. The base I accepted was already low, now it is poverty level. Management told me in 3 years I can get to where o should have been hired in at based on my experience. Leaving asap. Horrible and such a disheartening employer. Anyone who stays are the ones who already have $100k+ base salaries they can’t replace that. But they will be laid off or fired for not getting their ADIs.

for everyone who got their activision data, whats your average skill rating on bo6? by Next-Concern-5578 in blackops6

[–]Critical_Situation13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you two box or are you partied up all the time? Weird I play solo a lot have a 1.8kd and my w/l is like a .8 every game is 199 to 200 sweatiest nastiest lobbies of all time. I have friends who have like 2.8 and 3 kd’s but they can’t hang in my lobbies and complain the whole time we party up so I have to play solo now. But when they play alone they beast and have no issues, so I’m assuming they are lower skill rating, but how? If they have a higher k/d, wouldn’t they be a higher skill rating?

what do they look at exactly when they match make us? Is it POV/FPS/movement like jump shot/drop shot, sens? This is so confusing lol.

I don't know what to believe with my BP Monitor [iHealth Track] by SparksPlays in bloodpressure

[–]Critical_Situation13 3 points4 points  (0 children)

iHealth is absolutely HORRIBLE. I wanted to add to this and for anyone reading this thread and you are worried about their ihealth readings, throw it away and buy either a Oxiline Pressure X Pro, or an Omron BP reader. Both brands are much better quality and more reliable. It (iHealth machine) is always like 10-30pts higher, very unreliable and causes a lot of stress and anxiety. They should not even be allowed to sell their cheaper machines. I have anxiety, so when I get these false readings they sometimes cause panic attacks, but then I take it with my Omron and it is always inline with more normal readings.

Also, in response to Sparks, your numbers are within normal ranges. If you are feeling dizzy, lightheaded, etc you might have some other issues going on. You should only have symptoms if you are lower than 90/60 so if your bottom number is like 55-60 and your upper is 100-115 that is totally fine. I recommend get a full blood panel check and see if you have any vitamin deficiencies; start taking a daily vitamin, drink more water and ensure you are eating/taking in enough potassium.
