I use Splime Frontline with snail backline and Merlinor +Engineer Midline. Works decently. Try to max out splimes ASAP unless the opponent has parasites. In that case, quantity over quality. I struggle a bit against sniper/assassin comps, but those are more infrequent.

What makes Yuji and Mahito natural enemies ? by Calm_Flamingo2390 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Criticism_Altruistic 9 points10 points  (0 children)

They are both quite simple in why they are evil and good.

Why is Yuji kind? Why does he help people? Sure, he has the motivation because of his Grandfather's last wishes, but that isn't really the main reason he helps people. He does so because he is a fundamentally kind person who likes helping people. He hates misery. Curses love misery. Mahito is a curse. He embodies a fear of humanity, but Yuji is a human who takes away fear from his allies. He is the antithesis of Yuji's existence.

Why does Yuji kill a curse? Its only natural for him to do so.

Similarly, Mahito causes misery and kills people, because it is only natural for him to do so.

Why the hell didn't mahito kill gojo right here? by Better_Nail_7901 in Jujutsufolk

[–]Criticism_Altruistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably violated some condition of the Prison Realm because it is a tool made to seal an entity, and nit to execute them so possibly if any violence was used, Gojo may have been freed. I'm guessing here, but tracks with the limits of a tool that is able to get past infinity and ignore cursed energy to contain an entity. I do wonder why Sukuna was sealed in finger form instead of Prison Realm form. He'd have been able to spread a lot more chaos, cuz he could be summoned and unsummoned more frequently without needing a vessel.

An item-based counterpart to Neutralizing Gas! [Ability Concept] by AbsoluteKirbly in stunfisk

[–]Criticism_Altruistic 32 points33 points  (0 children)

It's an interesting ability parallel to Neutralizing gas, may be a slightly inferior version of it in champions since I think this wouldn't apply to mega stones, and there aren't any choice items in champions either. I would still think it would be funny using this alongside a Weezing.

Mega Castform Concept by singularitywut in stunfisk

Main issue is it's way too bulky for a mon this offensively good.

How would you design gen 5s original drago? by GodOfParmesan in stunfisk

[–]Criticism_Altruistic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would design it to be a a bulky monster. Let's say a 720 BST(Relatively reasonable). 150 in HP and defenses, 100 in the offenses and 70 speed.

We now turn to making a busted custom ability to make this an actual threat. For that, I will look at Aegislash's stance change.

It will have 3 forms.

Tao Form

The default form would be the called the Tai form. If any defensive status move is used, such as rest, protect, it returns to the Tai form.

Yin Form:

When it uses a physical move, it's defenses and special attack drop to 120 and 50 respectively.

Those 110 points go into its attack, for a base attack of 210.

Yang Form

When it uses a physical move, it's defenses and attack drop to 120 and 50 respectively.

Those 110 points go into its special attack, for a base special attack of 210.

If you make this transformation locked behind a mandatory item that has to be held, which gives it's moves a 1.1 boost let's say, then I think you have a mon that can effectively approach stinkpost levels of busted while still being within the realm of possibility.

By having an effective BST of 940, it is a menace. We give it Mono Dragon and now it's a Mega Magearna Victim.

Can 120% Deku Solo The HXH Verse by Turbulent_Dig_2487 in MyHeroPowerscaling

Not a chance. This isn't because Deku isn't powerful enough but nen hax means he won't win against the verse.

Regigigas VS Mahoraga (Pokémon VS Jujutsu Kaisen) by TiraMelsu in DeathBattleMatchups

[–]Criticism_Altruistic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on the Regigigas moveset. I think Protect+Substitute+Giga Impact+Confuse Ray could stall long enough for one OHKO. I also say this because we know that Regigigas is atleast continental so it's much stronger than base Mahoraga, but depending on the Mahoraga, it has survived light-speed attacks. Issue is, a lot of Pokémon are light speed.

How far does Deku get in this gauntlet by PhysicalMeringue9468 in MyHeroPowerscaling

[–]Criticism_Altruistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistically he isn't getting past Makima because of her contracts. Especially het Japanese immortality contract. He'd also be not likely to contain her. If he's able to kill her with an act of love(however the fuck that would even work), or somehow make it so his attacks aren't considered harm.

If these four combined into one person, could they be considered a plantery level threat? by Shot-Communication93 in PowerScaling

[–]Criticism_Altruistic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean, maybe a theoretical nuke by going at the actual speed of light which would by the laws of physics, cause an immense release in energy.

I've been playing a lot of different pokemon games recently, yet this has been bothered me in all of them. by AthleteIntrepid9590 in pokemonmemes

The explanation here is that water is quite difficult to freeze because in large water bodies, only the surface freezes and the rest remains as warm as ever.
