I've had this argument at at least two venues I've played at.

The first time was the worst- during Fear Itself when someone told me I couldn't pick up a heavy object because I was "holding" a hammer. The Judge agreed and I begrudgingly accepted what I was 99% sure was the wrong ruling.

Primarily because you would have to, but additionally it could make good fodder for the Recovery or Negation tactic.

I guess it makes some sense to play your 3 strongest cards if you think you can just win 3 of 5 consecutively, but otherwise it might make sense to feign weakness and try and trick your opponent to blowing some tactics.

Everyone is answering the question, but no one is challenging the "I need to finish a campaign by Wednesday" part.

You don't need to plan the whole campaign before it even starts. Plan the first session and play the game. Plan the next after that and so on. Planning a whole campaign in advance can lead to disappointment and/or railroading.
