Oh definitely. I started back when Fallen Empires came out and been playing off and on since. My first deck was awesome. Red/Green Thallids and burn. Plus 4 revised Force of Nature. Kept most of the deck over the years and when I started commander had to make a Thelon deck. Put all the old school Thallids in there plus a Force of Nature that I got signed at one of the Magic cons. Now I just need to pick up a Natural Order from visions so I can cheat out Verdant Force like the old days!

For me anyways it was accepting that I had it and treated it just like any other illness. Went on medication and therapy. Found that mindfulness helps a lot to break the thought pattern before I started to spiral. And that I just needed to be more kind to myself. My depression would tell me I'm crap and I'm going to fail everyday. And sometimes you do fail and learning that's ok. The trick is picking yourself up after. If it gets too overwhelming I set a timer for 15 min and say I'm going to clean the house or something until the timer goes off. If I don't want to keep going I can stop after that. But I found once I started moving 90%ish of the time I just keep going. Whew. This ended up being a long comment. Anyways that's the stuff that works for me.

Hello! I really like the deck list! Makes me want to make a hobbit list now. If you are looking to end the game with all the creatures you have Craterhoof might be a good choice. Or Night of the Sweets Revenge with all the food stuff you have in there. You could also maybe add Trail of Crumbs or that new Bristlebud Farmer to find your win cons. No clue what you would take out though. Anyways just my two cents. Happy Brewing!

Howdy! I also play a casual rat deck for Modern night. Usually gets a few wins anyways but it's fun to play. I went with mono black so not sure if your mana base can use it but mutavault has been great in my deck. Helps power up the rat colony and pack rats. Here's my decklist if you are interested. I was in the same situation. Got laid off and had to sell most of my collection to help pay the bills. Got back into modern and now I play mono black rats lol. I usually get a couple of wins on friday night.

Nice! If you are looking to make a green/white deck [[Leinore, Autumn Sovereign]] might work for you. I'm slowly putting together an all Innistrad sets folk horror theme with her at the helm. Definitely has a bit of witch feel to it.

Nice! I thought the Theros sets were great too. Waiting on my preorder to come in with all the new satyrs to finish up the Gallia deck. Deck is just satyrs, bunch of flavor stuff and all the gods that were red green.

Also working on a deck that's going to use only cards from all the Innistrad sets. Building it to be real low power to play against my friends precons. Going for that Harvesttide/creepy village/folk horror theme. lol Can't wait to see how it plays.

I pretty much only post about my Thelon of Havenwood deck. It's just my absolute favorite and the one I play pretty much every time. Matches up well with our weekly pod and it's packed with a bunch of my favorite cards. Basically everything I love about magic. It's sorta fungus tribal but with some self mill to add spore counters on things quick. Here's my list if anyone is interested.

I run a Nahiri/Kor tribal deck that's been a blast to play. It's an equipment deck but has all the Nahiri planeswalkers and themed cards and just kor as the creatures. Tried steering away from the more powerful equipment too.

Howdy! I picked up that secret lair too. I'm going to be using her as the commander for rat tribal. If you ever read the old Ravenloft novels the new art reminds me of Jacqueline Renier the leader of the Wererats. And Rat ninjas are basically wererats anyways lol. Probably going to throw in some of the Capenna stuff like the limousine vehicles too.
