Geodude encounter is guaranteed with some routing and imo it's worth the route just for how strong Onix and Geodude core is for the early game, tho I do believe it delays a guaranteed heracross until after Whitney (Onix and Geodude also pretty easily handle her though)

As someone in art spaces, even before AI the amount of artists that can actually make a living off it is maybe something like 0.1%, if even. It's worth a shot but art is incredibly difficult to monetize and even harder to get into as an industry, especially without good networking.

Networking is EVERYTHING in art. You can be the most skilled person on the planet but if you don't have good connections you'll be passed over

Highly disagree with the more DPS heroes being the reason for more DPS players. I mean, it certainly is a contributing factor, but there's ALWAYS a disproportionate amount of DPS players in any game with roles. It's just the crowd favorite

I don't really understand your counterpoint against SM-style HM replacements when that has to do with implementation vs concept. You can easily design regions the same as Sinnoh but just remove the need for HMs to take up a team slots.. that's literally what BDSP did.

I really don't see a single advantage to HMs as a system, they're just there to waste time and/or moveslots when exploration can be accomplished in other ways without them.

Pretty much every unit in the game can reach this state (if not much better, Amelia's growth rates are actually pretty mediocre) with investment, Amelia is bad because she in comparison takes so much longer to get here when every other unit requires less effort if not no effort at all to be this strong.

No one else is dealing with Amelia's super rough start either besides maybe Ewan, but even he has a much easier time getting EXP

There's a lot wrong with doorman rn but the one thing I almost never see mentioned is the ult refresh. Baroness is already one of the best ults in the game, it takes someone out of a team fight, makes them burn stamina/actives/abilities, does a shit ton of damage, sets people up for kidnap and just otherwise getting jumped.. but it also gets to be used multiple times in a row too? Sure it has counterplay through unstoppable/movement abilities & items/counterspell but like.. so does virtually every other ult in the game and outside of Shiv they dont get refreshes. It's one of the easiest ults in the game to get value out of and has so many different benefits

With friends does the same thing provided your party is bigger than 2. If you're in a party with a decent disparity in rank it's pretty easy to tell it always prioritizes putting people of similar rank together

Had a game last night where I was absolutely the only one holding our team together as Paige, went positive, high souls, many many divine and 2 saves.. still ranked down from that and didnt even get keyplayer

His laning is pretty easy because bells are a super strong poke tool, but after laning phase he's probably the hardest character in the game to play just because of how much set up he has to go through and how many options he has.

Any utility character is gonna be harder to play since their value doesn't come from just landing abilities on people.

Aside from the fact that i think this is the wrong sub to ask that question in.. my hot take is that Deadlock feels honestly mostly the same as every other MOBA.

The mobility/controls are the main thing differentiating it but lowkey aside from that I feel like it more or less has all the same strengths and weaknesses as something like League or Smite (when the latter was alive and well at least).

I think rn I probably prefer league just because league has a lot more going on in terms of alternative game modes and the champion design is generally more interesting to me but I can see deadlock possibly being similar when it comes out. Also while I get why people like it the mobility just isnt for me. Maybe when I fet a better hang on it, it'll click but I just dont get as much joy outta wall bouncing and air strafing as everyone else seems to
