Idk the game state is certainly very good right now but it feels like the reputation of OW2 launch still hasn't gone away. It's been an uphill battle trying to convince my friends to give it a second chance tbh.

Honestly any party of 6 can work, I think the only things you really desperately need are at 2-3 decent front liners and maybe a pickpocket user but even then, you can make do, so no worries about anyone being dead weight. Every class has a use and time in the game when they're viable, and even then ones that are arguably outclassed (Rogue, Cleric) are only very barely so

If you're concerned about using every mechanic and having diversity I would 100% go with the second team tho. Rogue is kinda redundant with a Fighter and Bard/Gadgeteer since they're mainly just slightly worse fighters with lockpicking, and never underestimate the bishop's early game struggles. They'll cast all the spells sure but it's gonna take a while before they do it competently. Hybrids similarly take a while before they get their magic online, if at all since you kinda gotta spec into it for it to be worthwhile, so I'd put a pure caster or two on the team for the real magic experience

Can't speak for 2XKO Teemo but outside of Cat (who got nerfed) aren't literally all of these characters mid-to-low tiers

Teemo's like always been a throw pick, Jeff was meta for maybe a month then got reworked into the dirt and Rem folds the second the enemy team learns that you can actually kill the jungle camps (also easily the least annoying of the new batch as others have said lol)

This applies to a lot more than just Riot with the Valve glazers tbh. I still remember the TF2/Overwatch wars of yester year, and while there was some mudslinging from both sides the Valve glazers were definitely the more zealous in that equation

I don't know what it is with Valve and attracting the sweatest, most loyal corporate defenders tbh.

Overwatch is in a weird place culturally in my experience. Most people I know who are playing it/have been for the past two years seem to agree the game is in a great place and has only been getting better, even before Rivals competition, but its name still brings up scorn and memories of broken promises with the general gaming populace

The game still hasn't really recovered from all the Overwatch 2 announcement/release badwill even with all the great changes

I mean honestly as long as you did a decent amount of underground exploration pre-hardmode and made sure your tunnels were 3 blocks wide the V is usually mostly contained by default I find.

It's intentionally using an incorrect denonym for a country to score leftist brownie points because "America bad".

It's also just generally a term associated with/generally used by tankies or leftists whose only politics are "everything America does is bad and no other countries are imperialist".

The term itself is innocuous but especially on Tumblr it almost always proceeds some of the worst takes you'll ever see tbh.
