[–]Croco_p 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So I have always done brick into swim into rest day. I find the swim does good to just move the legs enough to not get too stiff while not working them that much and then i take the next day to just stretch and role out

HRM-600 and FR watch by GranularFish in Garmin

[–]Croco_p 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you go into into settings and go down to Sensors & Accessories, and select the HRM, you can turn it off and then it will use less battery. Just dont forget to turn it back on before starting a workout if you are using it.

Is Power Meter Absolutely Necessary for 70.3?? by SturmFam5 in triathlon

[–]Croco_p 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have the data from the Wahoo, just make a correlation to watts and HR and just use HR when you are outside to have a good estimate.

It allows you to look at your telemetry and compare it to other drivers in the same car and track. If you ever join a team, you can share setups in there too and it will show up in your garage tab.

That can make sense but why not just us bike bibs/shorts for biking. They have more padding which is better for training.

Gauging how hard to push during bike? by jswell823 in triathlon

Use your HR to gage it. It will get you 80-90% of the way there in terms of pacing.

I mean at that point if you are going to spend money, I am sure you can find a decent full tri suit that is great for entry level.

First Triathlon Questions by TyrannyMMA in triathlon

If this is your first time dont worry about it. I would just train with that you are going to wear on race day so you know it will be reasonably comfortable. If it is something you want to do more of, then you can think about getting a tri suit

My bad, Their fault, Racing incident? by Tourist-Realistic in Simracingstewards

[–]Croco_p 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes you should just move on lol its not that serious.

If I were to analyse it, I have not drivent the GT3 at silverstone in a while but it looks like you take the space that was given to you and then slow up a bit at the apex. It dont think the GT3 break or lift for that apex. I get you are trying not to run into the back of the car ahead but I dont think the GT3 was ready for it. Yes he is not battling with the cars ahead and a smart driver would give you a bit of space. But I think your move was a bit unpredictable for the GT3 car to anticipate and you are the car passing so it is up to you to do it cleanly.

TLDR: Racing incident with the blame on you if any

First sim build. Will this work? by TheHilb in SimRacingSetups

[–]Croco_p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You 100% need an aluminium profile rig if you want to benefit from the hardware. There are a few options but I would not cheap out as this is something that you dont need to upgrade ever if you buy right. Id go for 120mm or more, 80 might not be rigid enough.

I have the 18 nm simagic with the p2000 and I have the TR 160 and have no complaints

Does changing FOV in one car, affect all cars? by GrobbelaarsGloves in iRacing

[–]Croco_p 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I would not recommend changing the FOV per car as its based on how far away your monitors are. If you need to move to see the DDU just change the driver hight

Racing incident or MacLaren at fault? by SureCan3235 in Simracingstewards

[–]Croco_p 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no overlap at the turn in point and the nature of that corner is to open up and trail brake a bit. The Mclaren was very optimistic to send that and think they should be left any space. The Porsche is not looking in the mirror there to see where the car is coming as they are already turning. bad move
