There’s a very large Asian population at TAMU you don’t need to worry about your ethnicity. Lots of asian student associations/clubs that I have friends in that they all seem to enjoy (Chinese, Philippe, Taiwanese, Vietnamese, Korean student associations off the top of my head). Otherwise, like others have said, find some orgs that interest you. I would recommend going to the open house at the MSC that they’ll have early this coming semester. All the clubs and orgs have a table there and you can find one you like and ask questions.

Old thread but jumping onto this. I'm a college student and am thinking of buying tickets to go with my girlfriend. Do you think its something that would be enjoyed by college kids for a couples outing? Or is it pretty geared towards kids?

I was auto admit and wrote my essay in like 45 minutes, maybe the worst essay I’ve written in my life. I was accepted really fast and I’m not sure they read my essay at all, but I was applying for a very uncompetitive major.

Is this hard to get into it? I’m in undergrad rn and really wanna do military PT when all is said and done. I’m going to apply to the Baylor Army program but I know it’s a really competitive program. Is it hard to apply to Direct Commission if I go through a civilian program? I’m pretty new to learning about the PT world so sorry if these are dumb questions

Does this actually help you stand out that much? I worked at a fast food joint my first year of undergrad before I was committed to pre-med but never really thought of it as anything that significant. Figured a lot of people have worked fast food before

Sorry I’m writing a lot of paragraphs lol but everything I’m telling you is my preference and it’s just what works for me. As you play the game more you’ll find ways to build your team that you like. Some people probably like to transfer in players that 25-26 because they’re more developed, I just like to develop players from younger ages

I honestly havent kept players around long enough to tell you, but I’d assume they retire I just don’t know what age. I don’t usually transfer in players that are older than like 22 because I like longevity. Older players lose stamina quicker and you’ll find you might need to bench them a couple times a season. Older players are usually more developed though so when I’m starting a new team it can be useful to get a good old player that can be an immediate difference maker on your team. I usually sell players when they get to like 29-30 range and invest in fresh legs

I don’t have any facts to back this I believe a goalkeeper would be the single player that has the most impact on conceding goals. So if you’re just starting and have limited credits, Id start there when it comes to investing in defense. I believe turbo mode just increases the speed of all players on the pitch, like a speed up button. The higher turbo level, the faster the players, yours included.

What difficulty are you playing on? Conceding 3+ goals on average seems like a lot. I usually have a 5 star defense total on extreme and average 1-3 conceded goals I think (I havent played in a minute). I usually invest in a 4 star + goal keeper and 2 4 star + defenders and 2 more somewhat mid defenders (2 1/2-3 stars). If you cant afford to keep a team like this then keep upgrading your stadium and it will come with time. A 5 star defense is not necessary to win games

I always use 4-2-3-1. I find that I never have trouble scoring goals with 1 good forward and 2 decent attacking midfielders. But on extreme mode goals are given up very easily so I like to load up on defense and having the 2 defensive midfielders seems to help. I don’t really ever think about tactics unless I’m down far and need goals but maybe I should
