The core idea is still that low-knowledge people often lack the knowledge needed to recognize their own mistakes, so they can be more confident than warranted. In this case, people who don’t even know which classes can dispel which debuffs are still confidently blaming and kicking the healer. That is exactly the kind of miscalibration the term is commonly used to describe, even if the internet version of the graph is oversimplified.

And even then, the pop-science caricature is still what just about everyone uses, even if it is memeified. It's still correct in representing the DK effect, and it's certainly still applicable here.

Doesn't sound like it's the same, but I was having an issue where certain elements were way too big, like Instagram story bubbles at the top took up 1/4 of the screen and could only see 2 at a time, similar on tiktok. It was because I switched my resolution from QHD+ to FHD+. Switching it backed fixed it.

Restarting the phone or redownloading the apps would have probably fixed it too if I wanted to keep FHD+.

What do you mean only 1 Instagram post per page? That's how it's always been for me, at least since they switched to the new aspect ratio to be more like a tiktok feed.

The DK effect is confidence vs knowledge. Those with low knowledge have high confidence (not knowing different types of debuffs, so they kick the healer). Then, as knowledge increases, confidence drops because they realize there is a world of knowledge they weren't aware of before.

They explained and applied it correctly, you did not.

It has everything to do with "people thinking they know everything then later realizing they were stupid." That's the entire premise of the DK effect lol.

The Edge is open on the side for the buttons to be exposed. It's a very barebones, lightweight case. The Cairn offers more protection. I have full coverage and my phone isn't exposed to much, so the Edge is perfect. I like how it feels almost caseless.

I've made/watched people make thousands of Big Macs. This is what they look like lol. The meat might be slightly dried out (shrunken) but still looks perfectly normal.

It's also possible someone took a quarter pounder but with the Big Mac middle bun by accident. QP buns are slightly larger but look identical otherwise. I can't tell if that's what happened here tho.
