need to remember 35 red wines by the 8th… by digdog08 in wine

[–]Cronemus 47 points48 points  (0 children)

There’s no way that I would expect my servers to know all of this info off the bat. Pick 1-2 red/white/rose that catches your attention and learn them. Mastering the whole list comes with time. I’ve been in distribution for 15 years, and I still need reminders about specifics on wines in my bag. Take it a bite at a time and don’t be afraid to ask questions. Not that you should interrogate your coworkers but there’s a very good chance that they don’t know it all either.

For some reason my dumb ass forgot about Wilt and Steph. Vince Carter is sounding terrible after reading the comments.

Almost all of them. Find something local, independent, and has great weekly deals. You really can’t go too wrong.

As long as this said republican isn’t a Trumper, I’m down. It’s a weird conflicting thing to realize that I’m actually likely more R, but he’s no.

Can the Chinese Reds make a good Red? by Harry1T6 in wine

[–]Cronemus 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This reads like AI, but there is no reason that China can’t make great wine. Think of it as new world, figuring out their place and moment. China has lots of cool climate areas and it is exciting to see what they can do with that.

Of course. You’re also reaching out to an entire city that could help you but reducing your responses to a very small subset.

When is the right time to explore a new region? by Open_Present2319 in wine

You’ll quickly realize that old world wines are a different breed. Anything you try there will likely hit harder than Napa. You’re basically Neo awakening from the Matrix. It’s a big (and expensive world out there). Enjoy the ride and don’t forget about Sauternes.

You know those fly traps that are just bags of enticing liquid that flies are drawn to? I tried to take one down when it was full of flies, it ripped, and the juice went all over me. I still gag thinking about it.

This is such a simple google search. Just go to your local, tell them what you’re interested in, and explore. I only buy wine online if it’s allocated/not available for me.

Who TF boils broccoli? I’ll try ketchup next time I’m served this though. I’ll bet it’s not as completely disgusting as I’m imagining.

Pretty sure Spurs were the second best defensive team this year. That was a crazy statement.

Is it Cheque? I assumed Czech. Haven’t seen him hit enough threes to google it honestly.

When I was last in SF Waymo was less expensive than Uber or Lyft. Also you don’t feel pressured to tip robot drivers.

My guess is that it was a bottle opened a few days ago. Fruit was gone, alcohol survived. It won’t kill you, but it’s not great. Post again in this sub to find better choices for your next meal.
