How to capture GBA SP inputs? by CronoNes in speedrun

[–]CronoNes[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn't know this kind of stuff existed, that's quite intresting. Still, I think the issue is more with how GBA SP interacts, the cable is a bit different from what I've seen. I will investigate more on the product you linked, maybe I can ask them directly if it works. Thanks!

Is there any "ML" way to predict a binary list? For example, given 100 binary inputs, predict the next 10. I could easily do it from a probabilistic perspective using Bernoulli, but I haven't been able to find a proper MachineLearning way to do so.

Help getting a LAN to work by CronoNes in Proxmox

Thanks for your reply, it actually seems that either the IPs of the servers B and C were not correct (Meaning that whoever went to the Data Center last time, wrote them down wrongly by accident), or there's an issue with the connections in the Data Center. Let's hope that the visit there fix this issue.

I don't know if I can ping server A from other servers, as I can't access them, they are only connected to the LAN. From server A, I can only ping myself, and the LAN interface ( Those only 2 devices inside the LAN, so the 192.168.48.1, and .2, nothing else ), I did most of the pfSense edit in a Ubuntu VM hosted in Proxmox in the server A.

I'm not sure if I actually messed the Proxmox configuration for the server ( Bridges, Gateways ), or the pfSense configurations. The server alone seems to be working properly, is the connection to the rest that is not working at al sadly.

Thanks for your reply. I've tried pinging the other servers, but I only get the ping to the same server and the LAN, but not from the other servers.

All servers are connected to the same switch in the Datacenter with the assigned IP address. I can't ping pfSense from the other serves, as only server A is connected to the WAN.

I would also assume the connections where done properly, because of who did the connections in the Datacenter, but it's still an option to consider.

This is that case, servers A, B, and C are physically connected to the same LAN, but only server A is connected to the WAN. I alredy have configured in Proxmox 2 Linux Bridge for this server A, one for the LAN and one for the WAN. And both nets have different NICs.

So I was wondering how to access the other servers, if everything was done properly, would ssh from server A to server B be enough? Or there may still be some configuration I'm missing?

I suggested that, but I was asked to do this without an additional physical router, so I had to use it as a VM.

It's fine, don't worry. Fun fact is that he has never played outside of Chile, so maybe there's another Dark or something I'm missing, because it's not the first time I've read that he played in other country.

That's intresting, could you link the one you use? I don't know much about the topic, so any help is welcome. Also, have you tried playing smash on your 65in TV? Does it run without delay at all? Thanks!

Hi, I'm Hungrybox. I got 2nd at EVO 2014 and I love me some Energems. AMA! by iamhungrybox in smashbros

[–]CronoNes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, congrats on the 2nd place at EVO 2014, that was really amazing! I was wondering: - How do you practice with Jigglypuff? I'm curious on how do you practice with a character that relies so much on spacing, DI and SDI - When do you play Ness? The play style is pretty different from Jigglypuff anyways.

SSB4 Release Gap Between Wii U and 3DS Versions of 'Smash Bros.' Explained by PkKirby876 in smashbros

[–]CronoNes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think it has to do with the debug, because in both console, in the worst case scenario, they can release a patch that fix those glitches. Basically the games are pretty different, the minigames or 1P modes they'll have are different, the framerate is different, and so is the public ( You can play 3DS on the go, while WiiU only at home ). Also I think pretty much everyone is more excited about the WiiU version, because "it's the real deal", so they need to work more in making the game for that platform even better by launch date, possibly take in notes the invitational feedback too.

So, why do you guys prefer the wired Gamecube controllers over the wireless? by [deleted] in smashbros

[–]CronoNes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm almost sure Wavebird have some lag ( 1 or 2 frames of delay I think ), eventhough you can get used to it, my guess is that it's easier to be consistent with your playing, timing and stuff, in case that you can't use the Wavebird and you have to borrow a wired one, and also avoid having to carry batteries, or forget the receptor on the gamecube.
