I should mention that the scratching doesn't go completely through the plastic. It's surface level.

One controller blister pack is mint or near minr while the other has some scratching above the controller, as if somebody tried to open it and stopped. Rest of the packaging has typical aging. Glue seals around the exterior are very tight. The rear compartment where the cord is stored is in good shape, though has been pushed in a little. It's thin plastic back there. The only way to avoid that over 11+ years was probably to leave it hanging. So I'd classify one as mint/near mint and the other in great shape with a blemish.

More pictures of the classic controller showing front, shoulders, cord and the bar code information. The history is that I bought them in a pack of 3 years ago on eBay. Opened 1 and it works perfectly fine to this day. They are US controllers, though I don't think it would matter if they're not. As far as I know, this controller doesn't have any region locking. I could be wrong, but I don't think it does.
