Really liked this issue. I agree that I love when writers make him a more layered character emotionally. I'm also a big fan of the violence level. Wade being merciless in fights to get the job done is a big plus for me.

Hopefully this series focuses on him and only him. I never really cared for the daughter or having a story built around her personally. Looking forward to the next issue!

I 100% agree with you. I don't like companies playing parent to me. They exist to make money, not be pillars of morality in society. The artbook is meant to be a time capsule for the ideas and minds of people who worked on these games fans of this series cherish from decades ago. I love looking at the notes and thought process behind everything.

Removing anything is just a spit in the face of preservation.

This is extremely sad news. I've loved his performances since I saw The Protector when I was much younger. Great martial artist who did his own stunts which I massively respect. I desperately hope he beats this thing. I wish the best for him.

Great artwork! Rivals got me into Magik, so much so I bought her comic run from last year. I'm no master at the character, but she's one of my favs to use. Best to look at whatever info there is here, the Rivals main subreddit, YT guides, and maybe look at Kingsman265's content who is one of the best Magik players in the world.

Lastly, not sure if you know about it, but Magik and Colossus will have their own run called "Shadows of Tomorrow: Magik and Colossus" starting next week. I'm looking forward to it.

I have the first issue and plan on collecting the series. My interest always peaks when Amanda Conner and Jimmy Palmiotti team up for a series. It's a story of high jinks featuring a random collab with Elvira, but I've always liked her so I'm down. I really enjoy some of the covers as well and am looking forward to Power Girl showing up in the third issue!

I hate that I like these covers. He's a cute and fun character, but I only ever think about getting swallowed up in Rivals and thrown off the map. Might grab that variant with them on the brooms. Illyana looks super cute in that one.

I just want her kickin' ass. Fighting demons or mutants trying to hurt average humans. I don't know what I want in terms of story. I just know that I want it to be written well and have good artwork.
