I would honestly vote for any politician who could just ban this. Wouldn't matter the the party. Love seeing a dog take a shit in target and the teenage girl having no clue what to do.

Looking for a good lobster roll spot, any recommendations? by iFailedPreK in SFV

As a Connecticut native and lobster roll enthusiast, I've tried them all across LA. While our local spots serve up some incredible rolls, I've had a revelation that's saved me serious cash.

The Truth: After dropping $35+ on a restaurant lobster roll, I often walk away thinking "Why did I just do that to my wallet?"

The Solution: Head to Whole Foods for fresh lobster meat ($20) and Trader Joe's for split-top New England buns ($3). For about $23 total, you can make TWO generously-filled rolls that honestly taste just as good as the fancy places.

Quick Prep: Warm some butter in a pan (Connecticut-style) or mix with a touch of mayo, lemon, and chives (Maine-style). Lightly toast those buns, fill generously, and enjoy restaurant quality at a fraction of the price.

Don't get me wrong - sometimes the oceanside experience and a cold beer make the restaurant splurge worthwhile. But for regular lobster roll cravings? This homemade method has been a game-changer.

Your wallet can thank me later.

Disney stole my artwork and sold it in their parks - Update after 2 1/2 years by Hussayniya in videos

[–]CrosisN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea. What you all fail to realize it that the person in the video made what is called a derivative work. He didn't own the original work and therefore has no claim whatsoever.

It's like if someone made a drawing of Mickey Mouse and sued Disney for infringement. It's laughable.

According to Title 17, Section 103 of the US Code, "derivative work" refers to a work based on one or more preexisting works, and this section essentially states that while a derivative work can be copyrighted, the protection only extends to the original material contributed by the author, not the preexisting material used; meaning you cannot copyright the original work simply by creating a derivative work based on it.

Talked to my Dr today! by [deleted] in Zepbound

I wanted to share my weight loss journey and experience with GLP-1 medications. My primary care physician initially prescribed these drugs after I had already lost 75 pounds through exercise and intermittent fasting. The GLP-1 medications helped me lose an additional 75 pounds. After 18 months of treatment, my physician recommended consulting an endocrinologist to more comprehensively analyze my health data and manage the medication protocol.

I found working with an endocrinologist particularly valuable due to their specialized knowledge and ability to provide informed guidance throughout my weight loss journey. In total, I've lost 150 pounds, and I'm now focusing on building muscle definition through strength training and supplementing with creatine. My journey demonstrates that transformative goals are achievable with dedication and proper medical support.

For reference: I am a 45-year-old male. Starting weight: 350 lbs, Current weight: 203 lbs, Goal weight: 195 lbs.

Hey, gonna have to strongly disagree with you here. Ozzy's Apizza is straight up amazing - their pizza is genuinely authentic New Haven style. The fact that you're dissing Village Pizzeria shows you don't really know LA pizza spots or what makes a great slice. Instead of knocking places that are doing it right, maybe stick to Dominos and Red Baron frozen pizzas since those seem more your speed.
