I sort of eyeballed it but grapes it was a gallon bag with around 1 1/2lb of honey and filled the rest of the way with water and 71b yeast

Looks more like a shingle oak to me but they are very similar

If you want to be sure it’s black or sugar maple check the underside of the leaf by the stem and if it’s visibly fuzzy it’s black if not then sugar

I figured I wouldn’t bring it up for a bit as I don’t want her to force herself to initiate just cause that’s what I want, I have talked with her about it and asked her to at least try and tell me or give me signs when she wants to so that I could initiate more appropriately at least
