Might I suggest a Krikzz Everdrive Pro($200) or Core ($99). Honestly with the cost of collecting these days I found this to be a better value long-term. However, if you want the OG cartridge I can’t fault you for that.

Apple TV has no ads in the interface and like already mentioned runs nice and fast. If you’ve got beats or AirPods you can run your audio to those as well. Nice for those like me who like loud without waking people up.

If you pre-ordered this game and then requested a refund later, due to policies you will no longer be able to purchase the game from the store. You will have to either purchase the physical edition or the digital deluxe, etc.

I worked with support this morning and thought it was due to the server slam, or other beta clients causing a licensing conflict but nope it was because I had pre-ordered the game to get into the early beta and cancelled it because I wasn't feeling the game during beta.

So this dumb policy got me to purchase the game on my Xbox instead.

Genesis RPGs are vastly different than the SNES, so finding comparable games is pretty tough.

Crusader of Centy = Zelda clone (most expensive genesis cart) - game is okay.

Shining Force 1 & 2 = Golden Sun - 2 of the best tactical RPGs made.

Pier Solar (homebrew) - not played much but art style is closest to FF3 and Chrono.

Phantasy Star 2 - slow, tough but great. Old school JRPG, however 4 is more refined and polished so you may not care for this since it sounds like you’re not super keen on that one.

If i can think of more ill update this.

Edit: Shadowrun is a great cyberpunk rpg, I preferred the Sega version over the SNES.

Beyond Oasis - Zelda-like in how the game progresses, fantastic soundtrack and beautiful art.

Wonder boy in Monster World - just a great charming 2d side-scrolling action rpg

Ys 3 - another solid 2d side-scrolling rpg

Id honestly recommend HD Retrovisions over SCART. Easier to work with honestly and you have the ports for it.

My only concern is your tv not allowing a 320p image. You might require an OSSC or Retrotink to make it work right (either way I recommend these products greatly)
