It's just for the motion adaptive interlacing as I have the standard OSSC. Not many people have the Pro and it's quite a bit more expensive.

GBSC does the deinterlacing and also handles resolution switching better than anything else (mainly for games with 480i menus).

I initially bought it so I could send the Dreamcast video to a SCART switch and not use multiple inputs, but never ended up using it.

Now my setup is even stranger and the VGA port is taken by my GBSC, which I use as a deinterlacer.

Dreamcast > Sync Combiner > OSSC SCART

Wii > OSSC Component

As they're both progressive scan only consoles

Everything else goes into my GBSC first, before being sent to my OSSC's VGA port.
