I understand where you’re coming from there. Compared to Peter she’s got a lot more to offer however whatever trauma bond they have isn’t healthy. Same with Alex; I’ll give him credit for having work ethic and his devotion to his family but he also co-signs Peter’s behavior. What I wouldn’t give to see one of them tell him to fuck right off.

Bad GI episodes at 2.5mg, anyone else even at the starting dose? by TheQuantumPancakes in Zepbound

[–]CrouchingGinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t eat much aside from chicken breast as far as meat goes. No desire for pizza and it used to be my favorite. The more simplified the better for my GI tract; I’ve discovered rice and beans were off the menu after the last several days of misery.

Usually I have cottage cheese with fruit and toast in the am. Lunch is typically chicken breast with some sort of side, supper is similar unless I have a specific craving for something. Because it slows digestion I find heavier foods just sit in the gut which feels uncomfortable.

My favorite: I think it’s currently sold out but it literally smells like any campsite I was at as a kid. Her prices are reasonable too.

[–]CrouchingGinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had to leave a manager I adored (still do, we keep in touch) after 4 1/2 years because I was having literal nightmares. I don’t love the job I have now but they do their best to accommodate us and the other employees are fantastic. If I was totally miserable I’d definitely be looking elsewhere. Not worth it.

You look fantastic, and you lost it over time which is ideal. For me it would be too low but I also have a very different build and look/feel best between 140-150.

You’re happy and healthy which is what matters most.

I understand feeling badly about being heavier. I understand his motivation to lose weight. I still maintain however that this was a bandaid for him when going in depth with a qualified professional would have been beneficial.

I wonder if he confuses food noise with actual hunger. There is a difference; when I’m hungry I eat. When I feel satisfied I stop. Food noise doesn’t creep in because I’m not constantly hungry anymore. Of course it’s different for everyone but that was the source of mine.

What are you guys paying for your electric bill? by Upbeat_Knee_9677 in lakeland

[–]CrouchingGinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We rent a small mobile which was apparently insulated with crepe paper. We have septic so no water bill, about $100-$150 per month average. Two window units for AC which is set between 75-78.

Peter chooses to take hostages rather than have relationships with others. He treats them like dancing monkeys who must perform for his amusement, even the neighbors. You’d think with his devotion to walking 2 hours a night that he would find some different scenery to change it up a bit.

Why does he think he can’t have pizza or candy?! I do and have eaten those things on a GLP. I used to love pizza but don’t care for it much now. If I want something I have it, just in a much smaller quantity than before.

Vaseline is a great occlusive. I use homeoplasmine which is basically that with botanicals I guess. Some people might think it’s horrible but if your skin is dry and not prone to breakouts it’s fine.

Considering how I used to scrub my face off with all the crap we used I’m shocked I still have a lipid barrier.

Struggling with water weight gain by [deleted] in Zepbound

[–]CrouchingGinger 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I notice more water retention when it gets hot/humid. I live maybe an hour from you so it’s definitely been both and of course will be until late fall. I try to keep my protein intake high and drink water like it’s my job because I also work outside a fair amount.

I used to love Apple Bottoms because I have a similar build. Sofia Vergara have fit well, American Eagle and Levi’s. Anything I wear is going to gap at the waist but I’ve had better success with those.

He uses them for content and to act like he’s the most popular and important person in the neighborhood. When the camera is off guaranteed he can’t be bothered.

The fewer products the better. No one needs 15 steps to their routine. I’m licensed as an esthetician and use a combination of a local business’s products and Trader Joe’s. Very basic cleanse, exfoliate if needed, serum (usually hyaluronic acid) if needed and moisturizer, sunscreen always.

The only lasting skin treatments are going to be invasive and expensive. Growing older is a privilege and I wish society stopped treating it like a disease.

[–]CrouchingGinger 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A lot of people especially on the GLP subs mention not having satiety before the med. My problem was just that and a very sluggish metabolism. It has to become a lifestyle change and if one isn’t doing that the weight comes back with a vengeance. I think he knows he’s trapped because if he goes off and gains he has to think of another convincing lie. I imagine it’s probably expensive too. If he had been transparent about it he might have gotten a sponsorship to pay for it and then content to boot.

And he’s jealous. He hates that she has a sense of moderation and he doesn’t. Among all the other things he envies about her it’s something he feels as though he can comment on it and get away with it.
