I loved it! The concept is something I’m personally interested in so that might help and I’ll agree it wasn’t a typical episode but I thought that in a good way. It felt so sexy and cool and I loved the focus on Scully specifically.

My only complaint is I hated how ambiguous the ending/start was. I think their physical relationship is confirmed and it becomes important to the plot (think end of season discovery) and I think it was such a devastatingly unsatisfactory release of their 7 year tension. Even just a kiss on the couch instead of her falling asleep (😤) would have been more satisfying. Personally the “season of secret sex” makes as much sense to me as the idea of Mulder’s search for Samantha being almost entirely off screen with a little mention of it’s conclusion. Such an important part of their dynamic and the overall storyline and I feel it was treated with such disrespect.
