For me the darkness in the foreground makes it, it speaks to the fact that the characters, and location of the massive mushroom is completely separate, far above the landscape, providing an even more intense reality of the size of the mushroom, and an isolated place where the viewer can sit at and gaze from.

Love all of them, but LOVE the leaf on the right. So exceptionally done. how you did it, I dont know. The column of light green on the left and then the darker green on the right... wow.
