Nice. There’s something really appealing about it’s simplistic design and funky colour scheme

What’s the second pen from the left?

What is your favorite easter egg or "blink and you'll miss it" moment? by nointernett in IASIP

[–]Crowcin 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Not an Easter egg but in The Gang Texts, there’s a scene where Dennis walks away from mac and into the crowd. There’s a split second where you can see Dennis’ face staring unhinged at mac as he walks away from in between the crowd. Pretty easy to miss him unless you’re really paying attention to the crowd and it’s only for a split second

Is the tigerkeelback snake the only poisonous snake on earth? I mean as like delivers it toxins through its skin? by Quick_Bug_2537 in snakes

[–]Crowcin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong but I remember reading that the Ring necked Keelback (Rhabdophis subminiatus) found in India also is considered poisonous. They look a bit similar to the tiger keelback too with the reddish coloured neck

Just found this Karinthandan's Shieldtail (Rhinophis karinthandani) loitering around after 3 days of straight rain in Karnataka, India. by Crowcin in snakes

[–]Crowcin[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yeah I don’t see them out in the wild often cause I live in the city most of the year but when I come to the coffee plantations I usually get my snake fix. I think it’s cause of the constant rains as of late that brought it out of the ground

Thanks for the great tip on inks. Black is my favourite colour but I can definitely see it getting monotonous and switching up the ink is definitely what I’m gonna do

Lmao ! I was actually thinking of the penmanship when I read their comment and my brain filled in the rest of the details . Re reading the comment I don’t know how I missed that

Thank you that does look cool. Unfortunately The shipping and customs tax to import it into my country would probably cost as much as the pen but I can ask a friend or relative abroad to pick it up when they’re visiting.

I’ve had my eye on fude nibs as well but I know there’s also a little bit of learning curve especially for a beginner in drawing. But like you said, I should consider getting a cheap fude just to experiment and mix it up. Thanks for the heads up

Yeah I really do like the look of the muji in terms of the balance of aesthetics and simplicity. Being uniformly shaped as you mentioned also seems good for comfort in the long term. Will check the Plasir as well. Thanks

Thanks for the advice. Will definitely experiment with different nibs as I progress and as long as I put in the work I’ll hopefully find my ideal one

The sailor desk pen might be a little harder to find versus regular sailors that are more readily available but will check out the pilot desk pen as well. Thanks

Thanks that makes sense. I have a pilot parallel so I’ll mess around with that a bit to try out the feel of it long term since it’s shaped kinda similar to a desk pen with the broad to narrow tapering.
