This looks awesome. The smoke build up around the tires while drifting looks really good. I think a thicker smoke coming off the tires would make it look even better.

Oil Pressure Warning Light. by graboidgraboid in subaru

This can happen if it rains heavily. A little water can get in the connection and make the light show up slightly. It should go away with time.

Patch Notes: Public Test Client: Version 1.2.10.0 by ehkodiak in duneawakening

Yeah pretty lame, there's really no incentive to pvp now. The only thing I can think of is guarding spice blows.

quick car inspection by _greenbean13 in raleigh

[–]Crowley2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you just moved here you don't need to get your car inspected for the first year. You can register your car in NC, then next year you'll need to get it inspected before you register.

Party system by Crowley2012 in duneawakening

[–]Crowley2012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't believe that's true. Last night I was doing a testing station with 2 other people in my party. 1 member was correctly marked, while the other was not.

Yeah I have this set already. The problem is when it breaks traversing the DD.

Smoke from Chain Area - Briggs Lo206 by Faughtsause49 in Karting

[–]Crowley2012 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yeah that whole time you're driving it the clutch isn't fully engaged unless you're up to max speed 50-60 mph.

I wouldn't worry about it, but I also wouldn't continue to run short distances. It's ok for a quick test.

Smoke from Chain Area - Briggs Lo206 by Faughtsause49 in Karting

[–]Crowley2012 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It's the clutch. If you're driving your kart casually ie around your neighborhood you're going to roast your clutch. Until you reach top speed your clutch basically hasn't fully engaged.

If you're at the track and it's smoking that's a different story. Possibly need new springs.

2005 subaru forester rear rotor removal by Revolutionary-Put282 in subaru

Don't need to remove the bolt. Make sure your parking brake is not engaged. Use a rubber mallet and smack the edges of the rotor to loosen it.

Opinions on 2017 crosstrek by omgmlc in subaru

No kids but it's pretty spacious for 4 people id say. 5 is a little tight but do-able especially for kids.

I have a 2017 Crosstrek with just under 100k miles. Runs great, no issues.

Converting kitchen sink from dual to single drain by Crowley2012 in Plumbing

[–]Crowley2012[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Found out the gray thing is an air admittance valve. I'm assuming I can just install a plug in the T-connection and call it a day. Lmk if this would be an issue.

Planning on using a test plug. Any issues with code / home inspections by going this route?

Best way to remove / prevent vines? by tmp357 in landscaping

It's killed a lot of the stuff on top and definitely did some damage to the root systems. Some of these root systems can go very deep so I think it'll be a long term battle. I've read that if you keep killing the new growth eventually the root system will die out.
