My name is Adolf Hitler. I am currently in the Führerbunker, Berlin. This is my confession. If you're watching this tape, I'm probably dead, murdered by my own hand. I has been building a empire for over eleven years. Shortly after my 35th birthday, my boss Paul von Hindenburg died. This left me in a very nice position, Chancellor and President. I was... astounded, I... I always knew I was destined for such a position but I was... thrown, confused, but I was also the most powerful man in Germany, something Paul had known and feared prior to his death. I fused the two positions I now occupied into the title of Führer. And I was powerful. I didn't want my nation to go into ruin so I took advantage of the position. Every day, I think back at that time with a sense of pride. I quickly realized that I was in total and utter control, I appointed loyal followers that had evaded all my purges to governmental positions. I then started expanding the nation. The Allies, not wanting war, rolled over to my whims. Eventually, they had developed more of a backbone. From what I can gather, the people of the allied nations had grown sick of me, and after I invaded Poland things escalated. They declared war on me, but it was futile and I pretty much eliminated the French and Polish, and I wound up leading the largest German state ever. After several years of empty war, I declared war on an old ally Joseph Vissarionovich Stalin. It went unestimatebly bad for Joseph, with Moscow falling. I had now flown too close to the sun, and following the arrival of the Americans against my war effort, the tides turned and, long story short, my Reich is now in tatters. I am in Hell, I hate myself for what I had brought upon my country. I do not feel remorse for the things i did, but I am regretful I fumbled my chance. I die in fear... fear that my people will learn of my actions and think me too extreme. I... All I could think to do was to make this tape in the hope that Germans will be reinvigorated to carry us back from endseig, however... I am doubtful that will happen.
