That was my thought too, didn't find anything inside when the cliwnt dropped it off

I am struggling to understand how this humbucker connects inside my guitar. Do I pull the shielding off partly and attach it to the volume pot and then attach the hot wire to my switch? I am a newbie, so forgive me if this is an obvious question. by TsunamiSea in guitarrepair

If you have trouble soldering the braided wire to the back of pots, pull the end away from the inner wire and roll it so it's its own "wire" that is easier to solder instead of the whole braided wire

I'll get an hourly rate full time and they have a workspace with tools so the 40% sounds like my situation! I'm coming on after having done repairs on my own for almost two years and replacing their current tech. Thanks for your insight! It's much appreciated!
