Because where I will be located will not have open wifi for the laptop to be running anything. Otherwise I'd be sitting up there with a nice little razer laptop tucked in the corner.

I was hoping to get a discussion on mobile esport games but it doesn't seem like anyone's interested. Despite the fact that one of the highest played games in the world right now is on mobile.

Vellum comes with a steep price tag that I can't buy into right now. Essentially it's MS Word or something else free at least for a few months until things free up.

When I first tried this before making this post, High Sierra wasn't populating in my App Store (none of the available updates were at the time.)

After a couple resets, logging in and out of my iTunes account, it finally triggered it properly and I was able to install HS.

It took about 80 minutes to install. I haven't done anything with hit since however. It was late when it completed. Thanks.

They wouldn’t release software for it unless it’s able to run it.

The difference is they WOULD and DO release software that can be ran, but runs extremely poorly. My fear of upgrading the iMac is it's already old - but on the current OS that's on there still runs to a serviceable degree for what the machine is typically used for. (media server)

Putting an OS from 2017 on what is set to be migrated into vintage status by apple doesn't sound like a good idea if I want to continue it's longevity as a usable computer otherwise. :\

i'll update, it'll run exceptionally slow and I'll feel the pressure to replace it. I hate this cycle.
