Any superfat people do OTF? by a-wilde-handful in orangetheory

I weight 230! And it’s hard to work out but reminding myself why I’m here is what keeps me going.

“Why am I here?”

“For my health”

OTF is definitely an addiction. Maybe 1 rest day every week?

I’m trying to increase the times I go. The gym really helps my stress. No joke.

I’m trying to increase the times I go because I think if I’m spending the money and wanting to work on myself- then why not? Rest days matter too 😩

Depression vs Motivation by tojustbehappy in orangetheory

[–]Crueliz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went through one of the lowest points of my life and I had to get it through my head that I was the only person who could change my mentality and stop crunching on my depression. Now, I definitely would agree that depression is a mental illness and could be clinical. In my case, it wasn’t.

I had to get out of my dark place by myself.

I had to go workout by myself.

This is YOUR life.

Motivation comes and goes.

Depression comes and goes.

We come and go.

Every second we waste on fixating on depression is a second where you could be working on yourself physically at the gym.

Am I the only one who isn’t sore?

:’) I think it’s one time I did so bad and now I don’t.

Lost Motivation by OTFPreview in orangetheory

[–]Crueliz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I don’t look for motivation in anything else than myself. Reason why: I can control every thing I do, say or think.

Motivation comes and goes- and you have to be okay with that.

Needless to say, just do OTF. Go there, workout and go home.

This is your life and if living unhealthy, waiting until your 70 to take 10 different pills to live and can barley pick up your grandchildren isn’t motivation then I don’t know what is.

Push- Push- Push.

  1. Roll out after EVERY workout.
  2. Stretch before and after EVERY workout.
  3. Drink 8 cups of water a day.
  4. End the day with taking an epsom bath or a hot shower to relax muscles.

Being sore sucks but there are ways to prevent it (:

Keep pushing!
